For this week: StarCraft BroodWar campaigns. Was stuck on BroodWar Zerg #8 for a day. Hard mission I'd say. Am currently on Zerg #9 The Reckoning though I will do it in in the next 16h. WarCraft III Frozen Throne last campaign lvl. Undead 8: A Symphony of Frost and Flame. Hardest mission in the game. Gonna take a few tries to beat this one on Hard.... Age of Mythology . I'm a computer enthusiast and can easily work as a techie though I fear that for dumb customers I may be there if somebody working in the cashier at Bordershop (store in Germany on the border to Denmark selling alcohol) has written anything. I had beer under the "customerwagon" (don't know the correct work in english) and bottles in it. Put up the bottles and when I had payed I went quickly out of the store and heard a HELLOOOOO, HELLOOOOO. I turn around and realize I'v
that would benefit bigger armies and I for one want to get rid of that. It's much more exciting to have many bands of small units. In RTS terms, your suggestion would end up in one big battle but mine would have many small skirmishes.
Since you have played StarCraft II and have experienced the soft counters (Protoss Stalkers vs Zerg Zerglings.) Zerglings beat Stalkers cost for cost but after Blink (teleport half a screen away) is researched, Stalkers can beat quite some Zerglings IF your micro is up to it though Stalkers still can't beat swarms of them. Though I don't know how to incorporate such softcounters in a TBS....

StarCraft Ghost was first a stealthbased game but they changed it towards action and then it was canned. I'm sure I've read that Blizzard is doing a consolegame now and StarCraft: Ghost might be it! No, I don't got a source....but I remember having read it somewhere....I believe it was from a developer as well! Before the release, I'll create a new thread where we all exchange our Battle.Net nicks and possibly Msn and such so we can play t

I assume we can get the Limited Edition in stores in Europe..? If not, then partner up with Gamestop and the other retailchains. (No, I don't know how the publisher/retailer relationship works.)
If you can’t do something well. Don’t do it. That's a good philosophy! [e digicons][/e] I like the idea of a time bank. You get N seconds per turn. If you finish your turn early, you get to add those seconds to your time bank. If you run out of time, it starts to cost you gold. Like 10 gold per second. If you run out of gold, the turn goes automatically. There could be city improvements that give players
You can't get a competitive game of single player in a strategy game. At this point, AI can't mimic the ability of a human player (without cheating.) There's no point in playing the single player after the campaign unless you're really, really bad. Besides, with the new match-making on BNET, you can actually get competitive games instead of always winning or always losing.
Achievements </s
I like it. Definetly want a endgame movie (in sandbox) where you type in your name (or the profilename is used) just like in Heroes of Might & Magic II where you get a monster or something as a measure of how well you played. That really added replayability and competetiveness. Some guy comes here and says "Yeah! Gotted rank Paladin with these RMG parameters on Impossible!" and then I and other competetive guys will try and beat that. Ofcourse, the faster yo

That is this, the 6th time we talk about PC games dying..? Isn't it enough now?? *SIGH* [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] I believe that people choose consoles since it's easier. Watching newbies play makes me think that things that I thought were obvious, aren't. Like having 3 workers on each Vespene Geyser and 2 workers per mineralclump.
Sounds like these "Force Field Thingies" are pretty cool! You have no idea lol. If you go up against protoss in SCII, be sure to have ranged(or air) units or units with warping capabilities, otherwise you'll get stuck and ranged to death. This things DESTROY zerglings.
Is it as powerful as it was in Battlereport 3 or 4? It looked sooo abusive there. I felt sorry for the Zerg player.
From what I've heard, Zerg is the most powerful because of the spawn larvae ability of the Queen. Was complaints over at the Battle.Net BETA forums about quite a bunch of units. Helions, Siege Tanks, Stalkers, Roaches etc.....But most of all, airunits were complained against. Zerg & Protoss air to be exact. But most of those guys are newbies so I wouldn't put too much faith in what they say. Though the veterans should tell them in a nice way how to play.
....If your computer is that bad then you know you have to upgrade.... I'm probably the biggest Blizzard fan on this board so that's a definite YES! Diablo III looks to be the best ARPG so far. Don't you people know the new things they're creating?? Healthorbs, different "mana"system for every class (Barbarian will have Rage instead), skillrunes(!) and just much more fun'n'fluid gameplay. I don't want any small things that I HAVE to do to stay competetive like continually telling workers to mine in StarCraft. Continually telling workers to build roads is just as boring. I don't know how the improvements will work but if you build mines over goldmines then people should go out and build it so as to prevent the lame C&C 3 mechanic of things just appearing out of the ground. So make it like in Majesty. You select the build
