It does sound similar! I included my save in your thread also. I played a couple of turns after it happened the first time as I was unaware of it until I saw one of Kraxis' cities in the middle of mine (no messages of any kind). Then I realized it was my city! So my city didn't revert back. I'll have to keep playing to see if it does.

as though it had no defenders. My units were kicked out and placed next to the city. There isn't even a pop-up message saying that my city was captured! The save is from the turn before this occurs (also included the debug.err). I use white for my primary color and that defaults back to gray. The colors haven't changed lately on reloads of the same game, for me. Don't use a faction twice anymore as I figure the colors will be wrong. Which means I have to make a custom sov every game also. Derek said he put this on the bug list but didn't say "fixed" like he does with other bugs. So I guess it's still not a priority. I can't get it to work either when I double click. I have it in my downloads directory also. It did give me an option to extract the files so I did that and put them in my FE mods directory. Still didn't work when I ran the game. Is it supposed to come up in the game or is there an exe file? I didn't see any exe file in the extracted files, but I gather that's not the way to go anyway. Since you're working on custom factions, could you please fix the bug where your primary and secondary colors are not saved. On a random reload, the colors go back to default and stay that way for the rest of the game. Not only is it annoying for the current game but since we can't edit factions (like we could in WOM), we have to make a new faction if we want to replay that faction - altho the custom colors will not last a full game. It's not game breaking but I like to look
When loading a game, the primary color reverts to the default of dark gray (playing kingdom). I've mentioned this bug so many times in WOM and it still hasn't been fixed. At least in WOM, it retained the colors for a full game and changed when you used the faction again. I think it would be helpful if you could hover over the buildings at any time and have a pop up in the UI telling you what they are. But it is definitely needed while demolishing!

Thanks for updating this mod, I've really missed it these last few months! Drota seems to also have infinitely repeatable buildings. You can no longer build Drota and Goblin custom sovs, are you going to put those back in? (please, please). I like making my own sovs and it adds a lot of flavor when the sovs match the faction. Besides they are very cute in an ugly way.
I agree with Heavenfall. I've been playing WOM since release and had to stop playing with 1.3 because of the prestige "bug" or mechanic. The bug reports were completely ignored. I was going to downgrade the beta to 1.2 release so I could have fun again but the 1.3 release came out, so I downloaded that. Only to find out that was the same as the beta. I don't know if it is intended for libraries to cost more pop than studies (I don't think they did before). If so, 450 pop is a bit much, especially if you are at war when you pop goes in the red and you can't build any troops for many turns. I have the same problem with the tactical battles getting stuck and having to autoresolve to get out of them. Seems to happen more now that I'm using mods.
There is still a lot of portrait switching going on.
I agree (and I would read it - but I guess it's not worth it to the devs if just 2 people read it) [e digicons]:grin:[/e] edit - I beta tested a civ iv mod that used that system and it was great. I liked knowing the status of the bugs I posted and checked it every day. Unfortunately, it didn't last long as they abandoned the mod shortly after - it was World of Civilization.
Now that beta is over, I've been using mods and am getting this bug constantly. If I trade an item after saving an info card at some point, I can't equip the traded item on the sov or champs. Same bug with it highlighted but not equipped.
