I do dislike how folks who bought the GalCiv II expansions separately did not get keys on SDC, and have their games stuck on Impulse (which hardly anyone uses these days), whereas folks who bought the Ultimate Edition, who paid less in general, got to transfer their games over to SD directly. That feels unfair. It's a minor point as I don't see myself heading back to GalCiv II these days, but it was annoying around the time of the Impulse sale.

AI is most vital for ensuring games maintain their value over time- once you figure out an AI, the single-player component of a game becomes worthless to me. (note: AI exploits if avoidable can and should be)- this is why Civ IV provides hundreds of hours of play, and Civ V despite expansions never totalled 100 and probably never will.
Asus support is terrible. That said Asus laptops are generally very easy to get repaired compared to other laptops (guy i had fix my old one commented that the parts were solid quality) and I've never had a heat problem at all with either one. The other laptop I had- major problems.
Asus G series is awesome for gaming- the laptops are designed to not overheat and can last longer than a normal laptop.
Outposts really should cost an exponential gold upkeep per turn instead, with one per city free. Or cost per number of outposts connected to a city.
The AI is still as of 1.2 targeting caravans with spells like wither. One suggested idea: make caravans immune magic. Will keep the AI from doing this. Either that or make the AI think caravans are immune magic. I do think the AI is playing better game overall though. AI raiding seems to be more advanced, using throwaway champs to raid (where you don't like them anyway, more injuries is fine) is probably a good idea. <
Another idea: pioneer is the queue= no growth. Another option: only allowed one pioneer per city, linked to that city. Unrest increases when pioneers is being built or used.
The AI can get the Brothers Sparus or Panca Archers- I've seen the AI with them frequently.
Swords do need a buff, so counterattack working before certain special skills would do that. This would then power up spears. (or spears need their damage back)
The criticism is not enough content for the price, which is a subjective complaint. I think DLC like this late in a game's lifespan that brings in new toys is a good idea- it keeps the game going a bit longer when it would lose steam otherwise. I just wish I had more toys.
I was hoping for more and more interesting loot from chests.
It's underpowered not useless.
IF you're having problems, turn off Steam then turn it on.
Heart of Fire is pretty much a no-brainer right now.
-1 and it isn'tgoing to happen. That said, I suspect Stardock's next strat game could have MP, if it's being designed for it.
for staff units: my idea. Nerf damage, but give spell mastery a big bonus to damage so champions find them more useful. the issue is they are too effective for troops, not effective enough for champs.
One thing I can state as part of my job is temperature recording: they have monkeyed around with it. Often temperature sensors are placed in spots that make it seem slightly warmer than it is. Personally, I still believe in climate change effects, but I'm with Brad in that I think the actual degree is unknown, and we probably have bigger problems, though if practical we should try to prevent it. That said, any attempts we make at preventing it would be f
They still lack a true comparative advantage over the PS4. The console is still in trouble. It's still move expensive, and still will have fewer games due to lack of indies. What I would have done as Microsoft: Allow self-publishing, drop the mando Kinect (and drop the console price without it), make online MP free. That would have been a comparative advantage. I wouldn't have touched the DRM.
So Valve gets 0 from direct sales? Is that true for just you guys, or across the board? I always assumed it was different, and it was a big reason why I chose non-Steam whenever possible in the past (I don't dislike Valve, but I didn't want them getting money for indy games instead of the developer)
Yeah, EA was on my boycott list before, and since they seem to be part of the reason behind the Xbone, they could buy the Kohan and Virtua Fighter franchises and I'd still boycott. (that said, it's EA , they'd turn them to shit)
If Stardock made one minor change, I'd be fine with Steamworks being required: Make it where if you click on the .exe, the game runs without Steamworks starting if it hasn't started. I know two games that do this , so it is possible (Dungeons of Dredmor and Mount and Blade)
Nice AI changes. One suggestion for an option: randomize AI personality. Also, under this option, relation modifiers that give away AI personality should be hidden from the player, even if it gives a false value to relations (warmonger AI that is really -2 should look like +1 to the player though the AI will act as if it's -2) This will keep the player guessing.
THe big change was the fall of the USSR. The USSR with its spectre of communism was a scary boogeyman for the influential in America, it kept them from trying to roll back too many worker and consumer rights. With communism discredited, they've been able to go on with their agenda for the last 20 years, and it, combined with globalization, has caused profound negative change (unless you're a billionaire) The fall of Communism was great for those
I agree with this and have been saying it for good while now.
Caravan units do more harm than good- I agree they also need to be axed. It feels like leftover legacy from GC2 that never transitioned well.
