[quote who="AlLanMandragoran" reply="171" id="2934816"] Good stuff. I've always wondered this too: what does the surface of an electron look like and could some form of "life" exist on it? Are both "small" and "large" infinite? What if the smaller space becomes, the slower time interaction becomes? What if the larger space becomes, the faster time interaction becomes? In a way this makes sense because our interaction with Creation is dependent on how fast signals travel to our b

Isn't that what the Romans/barbarians experienced/? I don't think that it is a diminishing of humanity as much as it is a caveat on the consequences of arrogance v. "mother nature

Kaisoku got it. with regard to the disastrous 1980 series, apparently they wanted to continue the show from where it left of but certain actors were not available so they went bonkers with the storyline instead! On a side note, Olmos is a genius as Adama, and pretty much every aspect of the new series is beyond outstanding! It is just that one aspect of the main plot that made the whole thing crash and burn for me. That aspect being the idea to tu

This month i decided to try and watch battlestar galactica the original series after extreme disappointment of the new series and fond memories of watching it when i was a child. I thought it would look silly in this day and age, but to my surprise i was actually able to really enjoy it! Even my Wife got into it!! This last week we started watching Galactica 1980 which i never got to see when i was a child. But it is seriously shit!!! I do not exp

Take WMD’s out of the equation for the rush to war … and there wouldn’t have been a war. It all stems from the events of 9/11 and th

If the developers fixed the memory leak in the game, let them calmly make their way down from the summit of mount Everest, bury their dead and recover in hospital for several weeks first, then perhaps mention the map editor memory leak, especially if you want to see developers setting fire to themselves and jumping off cliffs!!! I was wondering what this thread was all about.... none of the posts seemed to make much sense so i Googled Fahrenheit 9/11 and still the posts don't make much sense hehehe! Anyway, i remember seeing that documentary advertised on TV and thought "what a load of xxxx". Simply because of the name! because i did not know the significance of the name (which i just found out). I have also refused to buy Civ5 for this exact reason. Me either, hence why I haven't invested any more in th

In reference to my above post yesterday on defeating the Mongols; I remember now what actually happened, i did not simply defeat the Mongols because of the sicillian spear militia and crossbow militia. There was a series of fortunate circumstances that allowed that to happen! Naturally i can win the battles one on one with an isolated Mongol army, that is not even worth mentioning. It is the battles where the Mongol armies are grouped together (which they like t

There have been some frighteningly awesome action movies of late, but what about intellectual movies? Hmmm, the Kings speech was quaint, Inception was utterly fascinating, but don't bother with Inception if you don't have the intellect to get into it, otherwise it will just piss you off and give you a headache!. but i would not put these films up as being as freakishly powerful a film along the lines of something such as Amistad
