Stardock is being very cryptic about multiplayer in this game. I think nobody has any idea when it will be in the game, how well it will work, or what features it will include. I don't actually know the official way of checking out your region, but if you go to sc2ranks.com and look up yourself it should tell you what region you're in. There are 7 regions: Russia Taiwan SE Asia Europe Korea North America Latin America So it's possible you're on Korea, Taiwan, or South East Asia I suppose.... but my guess is SE Asia

When I play turn-based games with friends/family I too don't use a time limit. We have more of an honor system and have never needed to institute a timer. In any event, turning on an in game timer should of course be an option.

I guess I'm still curious what exactly is in the multiplayer version of the game. So far, tactical battles are out, and I just read that quests were taken out. Are these changes only for the dedicated Stardock servers? Will we be able to set whatever game rules we want when you enable custom servers?

Nice letter Naydien. I guess I'm wondering, since it isn't mentioned in this thread, is tactical battle the only thing missing from multiplayer in the day 0 release? Do we still get the full tech tree? Will we have quests? Is the dynasty system in place? What about diplomacy?

I agree with maxlongstreet, I think a large portion of the TBS MP crowd simply want the Single Player experience except with players filling in for some of the AI. Sure, some people might not appreciate the longer games that are caused by tactical battles, and maybe some of those same people might not realize that turning on the tactical battle option is what is making the game "unfun" for them and thus they will rage on the forums, but is the number of those people greater than
