Is there a way to confine the mouse cursor to the game window when playing in fullscreen on a multi-monitor system? I know of external programs I can run to accomplish it, but it would be nice to have an in-game option to confine the mouse cursor to the screen. Without this capability edge-scrolling is kind of a pain.

This is one the first things I noticed back in the earliest War of Magic beta builds. Would really like to have the option to be reminded that I have idle cities if I hit the turn button. Could make a toggle "No more idle notifications from this city" on the notification if the player is intentionally keeping the city idle.

Anyone here still play SC2? I haven't played competitively for about half a year, and it'd be nice to play a lot of non-ladder games so as not to be rusty before heading back to the ladder.

Yeah congrats! You'll be diamond and then masters in no time. Hit a wall at the low masters level myself, and haven't played much in season two myself, but I remember how good it feels to get promoted. Don't know if you watch any SC2 or just play, but MLG is on right now!
[quote who="Frogboy" reply="11" id="2933412"] Well by some of the standards here, Starcraft 2 multiplayer is "broken too" (of course, there are people on the blizzard forums making that claim all the time). The only word from Stardock that I have heard in regards to multiplayer is a comment from Frogboy from the Fallen Enchantress Poll thread : [quote] Personal opinion on this: The MP is likely to increasingly go in a different direction to make it better for MP without gimping single player (quests in MP for instance not doable). I've long thought there were technical reasons for the lack of implementing a "single-player" with more humans game mode, and that its omission is not entirely due to balance and gameplay concerns. Yes I would like multiplayer, but only if it is exactly the same as single player but with humans filling in for some of the AI spots. Not sure why anyone would call it a "useless" feature, as the only "use" of a video game is entertainment, and if some people are entertained by multiplayer then it clearly isn't "useless."
[quote who="troglyte" reply="60" id="2897357"] I honestly think unless they go all the way with multiplayer, there's no sense spending too much time on it because it won't really be used. Can we finally get a multiplayer experience that duplicates the single player experience, except with the ability to experience it with our friends? I understand that you personally don't believe multiplayer in these kinds of games is fun, but what I don't understand is why you believe stripping out most of the fun elements of the game will make it better for those of us who do want to play Elemental multiplayer.

Agree with Nesrie. I think there will be a lot of people satisfied by duplicating single player in multiplayer but with humans filling in for some of the AI. If this is not happening for technical reasons its a bit easier to swallow. If however it is purely a design decision to branch the development of the game into two completely different versions with different rules, tech trees, and maps, I think it's a mistake, or at least it's a mistake to not give players the option

I agree with Tridus. Especially if you're playing mostly co-op, or playing multiplayer for a "shared single player experience," simultaneous turns is pretty much the same experience as traditional turn-based play. It would be a different experience for competitive play however I suppose.
