Which update? Also, can you post your debug.err?
You guys are awesome!
You're too kind. In hindsight it was an unbelieveably silly thing for us to miss. We also missed the summoned units. Since it's only a data change, should only take a little bit to update.
Knowing Random House, they'll make sure you guys get taken care of. How do you like the book? It's the first one I've ever written. :)
that... sounds like a very fast fix. I thought you were gonna sleep though mr froggie? You've got to be running on adrenaline and caffeine at this point. lol
Heh. Yea, just required an XML fix. And while we were at it, I got the opportunity to increase the combat speed in general to 2 which should make tactical battles more satisfying (IMO).
Also, we are going to do another update tonight. The Archers combat speed is too slow and since updating is so trivial, we're going to go ahead and do it before we "tag" the tree. :)
No, it's a bug that got introduced late. We're updating the data file now. Another 20 minutes or so.
If you have any suggestions on how we could make it easier let us know.
Have you tried running in a window? We've contacted ATI about it. We're waiting to hear back but in the meantime, running in a window might help? Or try a different resolution?
Indeed. We tracked it at almost the same time. There's an update going up right now.
Note: If you have an ATI card with Win 7 64-bit (and WinVista 64) you need to update your ATI drivers to the latest version. This should solve the memory issue.
Thanks! We appreciate your kind words!
My suggestion would be to just use Impulse to download it and then use your serial #. You'll want to update to that version anyway.
We just checked in a fix, so we're going to update (for tonight, we're just disabling the empires). There's a stupid archer bug that got put in this evening that we're fixing while we're at it.
i'll ask the Random House guys about it and see what they say.
Yep. It's when you use the mod tools to create an Empire faction. So for now, don't do that. :)

I don't remember having a post hidden, but doesn't that go against my "right" to "demand" a finished game as according to your bill of rights? It literally says: Gamers shall have the right to demand that games be released in a finished state. I know it says that you, the developer, do not have to *listen*, but wouldn't hiding posts
The OP is right... they totally lied with the "1000's of units!" line and then this is what we get... This isn't epic. This feels incredibly dull.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 2Or another way to look at this story is that perhaps the developer should have made their game available through additional channels.
