I've seen this for a while but it didn't really occur to me until I started playing with henchmen more. The scout ability is an army ability. Which sets the expectation that the ability applies to the entire army. This would make them a guide of sorts. I actually like the idea of a scout shuttling armies through dense forests. It is also something the AI can be told as well when it's deciding it's unit makeup. Thoughts?
*nods* with approval.
The Scout unit would actually have some use if it indeed was an army ability.
The compass works for armies.
Wait what, having an scout in the army stack where eight other units don't have the scout ability will give the whole army the ability to bypass swamps forests very fast?
If that is indeed the case, I have a date with unit creation today.
Indeed....overlooked overpowered mechanic...AI needs a few units that would do the same.
WTF!
Man oh man now I feel so foolish.
o.,o There is a reason why I always have a unit named 'Pathfinder' that gets more attention than some of my other basic units. >,.> As soon as I get bows my Pathfinder becomes much more useful too. :3
