Yuck on the design, and I would never buy anything made by Apple.

Very nice design, looks cool and if i had money to burn, why not...

Otherwise, from what i have seen, the hardware inside is not so glorious....only 12GBs of RAM and 2 mid-tier FirePro cards... for that kind of money its terrible value IMHO. I guees, maybe if you use apps, which could use those FirePros to some OpenCL GPGPU computing, than its acceptable, but otherwise. I would take classic win7 machine with dual Titans and more RAM over it anyday, and i bet it would not be really more expensive. Put it into some pretty case like Fractal Design or LianLi and voila. 

I still love my iPhone though and would still buy it over any android phone. The form factor is way more important to me in regard to phones, computers are about the function and power first and foremost.

Of course, because having cables and external drives lying around all over the place is so much more aesthetically pleasing.........

I bought an Apple IIc - complete with external drives and stuff....cost me $5.  [about what it's worth]...

I like my iPad2 ok, but I like my Toshiba Excite better. Android is a better OS than iOS 7, IMO.

Since the OS changed a bit, might just pick one up...

I read up on the specs of this offering from Apple and they're quite impressive for such a small, compact unit.

Yeah, I too have a problem with Apple products, especially since the FoxConn scandal and suicide nets instead of improving employee conditions, but this unit is made wholly in the US using US labour, so perhaps it is worth investigating, given its potential.
