just played the old FE scenario that was ported to LH in the recent patch. btw, really liked how the champion based campaign plays out with LH champion game mechanics.
Some things i noticed:
- on the final map (chapter 9 to end i think) my city had 0/0/0 yield. reloaded the last autosave (before boss battle of the 2nd map) but the result was the same. (was still ale to finish the campaign, though, not like the city is all that important in a champion based scenario)
- 2 observations regarding random loot goody huts:
1.) if you get lucky, you can find some LH champion items that are way better than most of the premade old "epic" items you can usually find on the map; my relias found some silver broadsword in the first blue treasure chest (20 att, +2 init +10 att vs. elementals & twisted)which is way better than all the other loot on the first map.
2.) in another random loot chest, i found a quest map - solved the little quest, got 20 fame and thus could pick a level 1 champ (as in the base game) - i think all other quests in the campaign have fame set to 0. maybe you can remove the quest map from the loot table for those maps or something?
other than that, it was quite fun. the new game mechanics make the campaign a bit easier than the original i think. my relias (warrior) was crazy overpowered, especially backed up by the commander champ i got with the random quest map's fame.
