Somehow the saves got corrupted. The last session was a long one, but loading in the current session did work. It started crashing when Verga resigned - I'm not sure, but he may not have had any cities left when I beat him in a city. Anyway, just a theory.
Please look at this debug.err and this corrupted autosave. I have not got a corrupted save in a LONG, long time, but this time it started when Verga resigned, so check out these attached files and fix the problem if you can.
