Brad - I'm using more normal units now which is great but I'm noticing the AI would rather beat up on my tank unit who is defending (and also has the +5 defense trait) rather than try to kill my dps squishies. They need to aggro my dps!
Sounds like your tank is doing his job
He was complaining the healz suck. Typical.
