Any one know if elementium as a resource is coming back? I liked needing it for the ultra powerful armour and weapons for units as a good way to restrict the # of elite units on the field. Also if the 'elemental churner', I think it was called that, will be part of the game to make the resource at a very slow pace?
There has been no indication that elementium is coming back. Instead, very expensive (magical) items cost crystals rather than metal.
The elementium churner was actually a mod addition, it was not something Stardock included.
