[.86 Suggestion] Maybe the only thing FE needs is flags

I bet if each faction had flags, that would solve a lot of the FE issues talked about in this forum.

Faction Symbol/ Flags should certainly be more visible

 

Maybe squads and larger should have a 'Flag Bearer' that is purely decorative. (at least melee units)

Maybe there could be different flags, each of which was dependant on the strength of your party/army.

"weak" -- small/wimpy/simple flag

"moderate" -- bigger flag/more ornate

"strong" -- same as moderate flag but with even more detail.

etc.



Might make the battlefield a little more visually-informative.

Conversely, the flag bearer unit could have an effect such as provide morale, etc... while also looking cool. OFC, this would cut into the limited 9 max stacks...

Personally, I would kill for surcoats with faction symbols/colors.
