Main Menu
1. Options (the menu that also appears when pressing the Esc key in-game) (Game Settings, not New Game settings) section of main menu should have tooltips for what each option does.
2. When in the options menu from within game (pressing the Esc key) need to have Load Game button avaliable, rather than having to goto the high menu level.
3. Is it possible to have some way of save games being related to a specific game instance. So if I start a new game and make a few saves and then start another new game, only the saves from the latest new game appear in the load game menu with tabs or something to get to other game instances which can also be used for when no game is currently in progress?
4. Loading a save game seems to take awhile and if possible could use some improvment.
Videoes
1. The button for making a video in the encyclopedia (Hiergamenon) smaller when it is running "full" screen looks like a fullscreen button, should change to indicate that it will make the video smaller and display the rest of the encyclopedia.
2. Window showing videos during tutorial should close automatically after video completes.
Music
1. There is not appear to be much in the way of varity of background music. I'm guessing this is likely due to it being a beta release.
2. Background music seems very quite compared to sound effects. May want to consider adjusting volume, or at least the default volume.
Unit Details
1. Layout unit details screen is good.
2. Magic Abilities should display current level of ability within tool tip rather than just on icon as the tooltip sometimes covers the icon, which leaves you having to guess the level of the ability based on the level of spells which it syas it can cast.
3. An experiance bar should be present in the unit details screen of a champion showing current experiance and amount required for next level.
4. Would be good if there was some way of grouping the spells by type (Eg. Earth, Water, etc.)
5. If the displayed model of the unit does actually have detail for the back, would be good to beable to rotate the model.
6. Double Clicking of unit displays unit details, but if the unit details screen opens with the mouse over a spell the encyclopedia opens straight away with details of the spell. Double click of the unit details should only open the unit details screen and not take the second click of the double to open the encyclopedia.
7. Is there anyway to show the screen which appears when pressing the D key on the keyboard with using the keyboard?
8. Should be able to move between units within the same army while in the unit details screen, instead of having to close the unit details screen and then reopen with the new unit.
9. Having a trade button avaliable while in the equipment screen would be usful to avoid looking at the units equipment in the details screen and then having to close the screen and open another on to trade.
Main Game Screen.
1. Need to be able to scroll view using keyboard without moving a unit.
2. Need to beable to move an army through the city via the keyboard and talk to other armies/champions using the keyboard. Currently when moving through cities with the keyboard the unit moves into the city and the city becomes selected stopping you from continuing the movement of the unit.
3. Need to beable to move to next unit, with movement avaliable, with keyboard without using the Guard option. Would also be nice to have buttons on the mini unit detalis section of the main game screen to do the same and show when there aren't any more units avaliable to move.
4. Build menu should disappear when opening Research or Ledger screen. Currently if the Build menu is displayed when opening the Research or Ledger (doesn't happen when opening kingdom info) the menu remains displayed until the Research or Ledger window is closed, the details section below the build menu disappears as the Research or Ledger screen displays.
5. Need to be able to move army using the keybaord when army leader is not the current selection in the details panel. Currently get no response.
6. I would prefer to see a change in the way the splitting of armies is done as it currently appears to happen if you select a unit to the the details of it in the panel and then tell the army to move. Would prefer either a seperate screen to carry out the split or at least having to click a button on the units icon for it to split. It would also be good to have an icon or some other indicator of which units will be split out when you give the move command.
7. Categories (of Messages) on right hand side of game screen should disappear once the last message in that category is cleared.
8. A continue movement button would be useful to make the currently selected unit continue movement to the most recently selected destination.
9. I have found that I tend to miss the Prompts (Messages) which display on the right hand side of the screen at the start of a turn. Maybe they could appear (possibly only briefly) in the middle of the screen one at a time before sliding to the right hand side of the screen. I'm not sure how much on an issue this would be when there are lots of prompts, may just be better to have one indictor display in the middle of the screen at the start of a turn in which there are messages to draw your attention to them.
10. Need to beable to see the tile yields information for tile which have been explored but are not currently in sight range.
Kingdom Details/Ledger/Design/etc. screen
1. Economy Tab in Ledger - The Details button is enabled but does not do anything. Details button should be disabled when in Economy Tab of Ledger.
Spellbook
1. Would be good if there was some way of grouping the spells by type (Eg. Earth, Water, etc.)
Encyclopedia (Hiergamenon)
1. The Imbue option that is avaliable for champions does not appear to have any info in the encyclopedia about what it does or the requirements to enable the option.
Combat
1. Should be able to see the attack range of an attack or ability during battle.
2. Mouse cursor should change to a pointer when moving the mouse of the unit list or ability buttons. Currently the cursor just displays whatever the last cursor was (eg. Cannot move).
3. Suggest slowing down animations in battles when battles are set to the default speed. The battles current feel like they are rushed as the units move about very quickly. I realise this is likely intentional as to not have battles take to long, but currently either the animations need refining or slowed down at default speeds.
4. While targeting an ability: If a message displays (eg. out of range) while the mouse is over a target the unit details panel will display and then quickly disapper, would be good if the unit details panel continued to display.
5. Defend and possibly other skills need shortcut keys.
6. Would like to be able to move and attack in one click, but still select which square the unit moves to.
7. Would like to be able to move units one square at a time if I choose to and mvement stop once attack or use ability rather than move finishing after any move.
8. Sometimes it can be hard to see unit located in some positions, especially at screen edges and even more so at top screen edge with other units just below them. Currently have to zoom out to beable to see them and then back in to target easier. Would be good to be able to scroll the battle map using the mouse and/or keyboard.
9. The display of the target area which a spell will hit needs to be made clearer as it is currently hard to see.
10. Estimated damage appears to currently only show the damage of a standard attack, should be improved to show the estimated damage of the attack/ability currently being targeted.
