Fallen Enchantress allways crashes at loading screen

i have just installed FE and the 0.77 patch. every time i start the game the loading screen apears and then it crashes.

windows says "no feedback"  and so after a few mins the only thing that i can do is close the program.

im using win7 64pro 8g ram amd phenom II X6 1090T processor ... ...

anybody any clues?

well i guess i have to wait to the next patch or the release then ^^

is the computer on the internet? (no possible cause as the beta requires internet to get the data blobs to start the game)

does  the computer have a software firewall? (yes, could be the firewall is trying to pop up under the game and is preventing the game from connecting to the internet to get the data blob)
