I just got an email today (December 3rd) with a flier for 50% off Stardock's Object Destop, what a deal. This program is usually $50 and I was going to get it for about $25... cool. Then I clicked the link and it pulled me up to a purchase page where it didn't show a reduced price... is there somewhere that I click to enter a discount code? Is the price going to be discounted when I place the order? Where is the discount? Well going back to the flier I read that it is valid 11.25-12.02, so why in the world would they send me the flier today if the deal is already over?
Was it an honest mistake or are they hoping that I get confused and buy the product at full price seeing that I got the flier today and it would be completely illogical for one to assume that the deal wasn't still going ? This seems a little ... shady... to me, what do you think?
I am contacting Stardock directly to let them know, and will tell you all what they respond. I have had nothing but good experiences with Stardock, so let's hope that this is just an honest mistake. Did this happen to anyone else?
