confirmed that there is DEFINATELY an issue with longbows having a 100% MISS rate
I had created a custom sov with 24 combat move 495 attack 0 defence had a battle with a single wolf (attack 3 def 1)
battle started with sov 5 squares away from wolf, fired 12 arrows at wolf ALL missed, the wolf moved forward 2 squares, I retreated sov out of battle
altered sov to have 200 combat speed as actual percentage miss test
started new game same map,ai/factions, in turn 10(before ANY spell research had completed and only ONE research completed ) the test battle for the 100 shot sov was with a bandit with 1/13 health at 5 squares, 100 shots ALL miss at 5 squares, 100 shots at three squares all missed, 100 shots at one square all missed, autoresolved battle, sov STRUCK 1 health bandit for 180 damage,
note NO arrow hit, but a punch did
in case it is a pointer for the problem, the machine had the singleplayer version installed before updating to 1.09e, then hotfixed to 1.09e49.
