My first two games
(first impressions)
So... I've been waiting for the biggest stuff to get fixed before jumping in... So here's a jumble of my first impressions.
- Game can be INCREDIBLY fun. Yesterday, I should have studied but played from about 8PM to 2AM... DAMN YOU STARDOCK!!
- It is obviously a labor of love.
Maybe too much of one... - All this fun is marred late game though where the game...
- started to crash
- did not update my children list
- made one Fallen group with an already incredible military and a single military unit one-hit killing each of my soldiers one by one.
- had a character with -3234545224 money that I could exploit to trade all he had to me. In one instance, this issue transferred to me
- The interface has some good basics but is seriously lacking in many points.
- Trading with caravans. I hate using TAB and always selecting my AUTOMATED traders
- Feedback is difficult. YAY for city screen
- Seeing all my units is difficult
- Too many towns on ONE row is crazy, there should be more than one row with many lines
- Balance issues I encountered
- I barely met champions until late game
- Gold can be hard at first
- I had like 6 units types named "Archer" at the end of one of my games. Confusing.
- Hard to mix different management types (economical, military, etc.)
- Had an incredibly though monster on one island where I needed to bring all my army to defeat, so naturally I didn't build there.
- Dragon or something late-game quest difficulty spike is INCREDIBLE
- Y AI asked me to go to war against my ally X each FIVE turns or something. Vice-versa also applies.
- AI can be very predictable and/or mess.
- I'd like to be able to build weapons en masse to equip my heroes or equip my future soldiers(with a build decrease for them)
- My creation Lady Sculla is there!!!!!
:D:D Had her as another faction leader 2 times on 2.
