Launching the game crashes to desktop

Dear support,

I have not been able to play my title of Elemental; War of Magic since the launch of the title. I've updated to 1.07 and I've even completely uninstaller the game and reinstalled it to try and fix the immediate crash to desktop.

When launching using Impulse my screen will go black twice and then a dialog box will pop up that says " x has stopped responding "

Specs:

Windows 7 64-bit
8GB RAM
eVGA P55 SLI Mobo (lastest chipset drivers and bios)
ATI 5950 (latest drivers Aug 25th)
Creative X-Fi Titanium Sound Card

If anyone can help, I would be most appreciative.

Please open your debug.err file in notepad, and link the contents into a post here via pastebin. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.

The file can be found in My Documents\My Games\Elemental

Be sure to copy the debug immediately after the error occurs; if you start the game again, the debug log will be erased and recreated for the new session.

If there was a dump zip created in C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic on Windows XP), please post it via drop.io.

I've fixed it.

Found out through some old posts that if you have the ATI system tray tool on your game will not load properly, turning that off will solve the problem.

I'm quite surprised that you guys have not looked into fixing this. I play countless games and no other game has this issue and considering the threads I was searching were posted as far back as June lead me slightly concerned with your abilities to fix "simple" (relatively speaking, considering the amount of time you have had to fix it) known bugs.
