When I'm improving a city I'd like the area that normally shows the details to actually show the details of a city. I've found that if I go to build an improvement the details area blanks out and is replaced by a statement saying something like Upgrading City. This is a total waste of space, and when I'm upgrading a city I want to see what it's current stats are. I'd also like the free tiles added to the city details.
One thing I've been doing to work around this is I've found that if I open a city and start an improvement then click on another city from the left it moves to that new city and shows the city stats while leaving up the production panel open. this is what I'd like it to do always. Also if you click next city it closes the production panel. So if you have a long list of cities that goes under the production panel there are some cities you can't click that way.
Also the city name shown on the map shows critical resources for that city but it looks like it is being truncated. In new cities you can see like food and tiles but as you add research, arcane etc it starts to truncate and the thing I really want to see is the number of tiles available.
So
1. Make city details visible when you are adding a city improvement.
2. Add tiles available to the information displayed on city details
3. Fix the city title to not truncate city resource info
I'm running on Windows 7 64 with an Nvidia 465 video card.
