[1.06][bug] Can't finish turn

1) Load this saved game.

2) Press end of turn button. The game become extra slow.

3) After some time a window will open asking if I want to combat some troops. Press auto resolve.

4) After some time a window will come with battle results. Click OK

That's it. The game never finishes "end of turn" processing and VERY slow. Overall the performance of the game was quite good until like 5 turns ago, when it suddenly become worse and worse, and now, it can not even finish end of turn (well, if I wait long enough it may finish, but after 3 minus I gave up, one should not wait that long)

Yes that would be the out of memory/DX invalid call or some such.. If you ctrl+alt+del to open system manager, when you select it you should get those kinds of error messages.

I have 3G of memory (Vista 32 max). And while it does generate errors if I alt-tab the game, it generates regadles if I play this save file or not.

I think the problem here is some kind of infinite loop somewhere that consumes resources.

The mem leaks causing such conditions are fairly well known.. I have vista premium 64 and 4g mem and i get the same conditions.

I do not think it is a leak. I have RESTARTED game, loaded the save file, and EXACTLY the same problem.

Memory leaks when they consume all the memory the OS can provide then the OS will Kill the app and the game crashes hard... no warning. 

 

The cannot finnish turn cannot end turn bug is a different beast entirely m'tinks!  all elements of the game function for the given turn but for my own experiences the turn will not complete.  I can open and use other screens options reports etc... just cannot end the turn...  Not out of memory not a memory leaks.

Trust me in this one.  There's a lot I do not know but this is not one of those...
