After aTatical Battle the Mouse Icon won't change

Stuck on leveling up screen

Just playing the game for the first time tonight, started with the Campaign.

Whenever I win a battle using the tatical option and I win...

The resolved battle screens comes up and I click OK,

One of my units gains enough experience to level up....

Then the game send you to the level up screen and the mouse icon is still the move icon from the tatical battle...

With the mouse icon as the tatical battle movement icon, I can't press any of the plus options on the level up screen...

So now I am stuck on the level up screen with a tatical battle mouse icon and I can't select any improvements to the leveled up unit to carry on with the game...

This must be unique to me...or am I doing something wrong (in my opinion, I'm just playing the game)...I refuse to believe that this type of bug was not found in the beta phase.

Any advice....as of now the game is unplayable for me if it gets stuck on the first level up screen !

Aye, same issue here with Win 7 Pro, 64-bit. It only seems to happen when I have movement / actions remaining on the unit that finished the combat.

This is happening to me too but you can actually still click on the points to level up. Try clicking around the level point button in a slowing expanding circle and eventually you should be able to click it. When it happens to me I usually have to click above and to the right of the box and it will turn red and is clickable. Then I save, exit and reload the game and its fine. Annoying but meh

Thanks Shaftwindu...I was able to find the sweet spot as you said.

My Setup is Win 7 Home, 32-bit.

Note to Developers....

Force the mouse icon to the default mouse icon when the level up screen pops up.

This also happened to me when I as roaming around the map and clicked on a creature and the mouse icon changed to a crossed sword...

Before I wanted to fight the creature, I wanted to save the game so I hit the esc button and the main menu poped up with the crossed sword mouse icon still present...I couldn't hit the text box to type in my unique save game name.

I had to cancel the saved game menu...click on one of my cities to get a regualr mouse icon and then go from there...Very frustrating....

But other than this inconvience...great game...no other bugs to mention. Good job guys.
