Beta 4 Gameplay Comments and Issues
1. Ships
- It's more trouble than it should be to dock a ship at a shore hex.
- Ships have pathing issues, you can't move ships from the strategic near land/shore hexes, have to zoom in and move them one hex at a time.
2. Enemies Not Appearing on Map with some zoom levels
- Some enemies can't be seen on the map in heavily wooded areas unless zoomed all the way in or zoomed out to the strategic map.
3. Character/Champion vs. Party Movement
- I can't always tell if I'm moving one character in a party or the whole party.
- Hate it when I thought I was moving the party to attack and instead one character attacked and got killed.
4. Quests locations
- Locations for quests appear in other kingdoms zone of control.
5. Pioneers
- Can not longer capture & build on resources.
- Why should I have to build a town just on get a single resource, ever seen an island with a single resource?
- Who wants to build and manage 50 mini towns?
6. Loading Saved Game
- There needs to be some sort of game loading indicator, so you can tell that the game is doing something.
7. Tactical Combat
- Unit Summoned familar - can't attack, when attacking there is no hit or miss message, they never hit.
- Arrows animation - arrow path doesn't go anywhere near the target yet hits!
- Some enemy units don't seem to have animation, all that is shown is a hit/miss message.
8. Spell Damage hit or miss?
- You see a spell hit for zero points then next turn hit for 10 points, at zero damage you can't tell if the spell doesn't work against the creature or just missed, maybe a missed or spell has no effect message are needed.
9. Unit Design
- The game keeps adding designs that I have retired, the archer unit reappears again and again.
10. Female Warlords with Exposed Cleavage
- Elemental needs to have this, why else would the government be running public service ads on the radio warning us about games that have female warlords with exposed Cleavage.
- Either that or we need female warlords doing bra commercials on TV, because apparently no in government has ever seen a Victoria's Secret commercial.
