My familiar attacked a wolf. Then the wolf attacked back. Then their graphics became or were obscured by brown blotches that moved around a tiny bit. The number 2(damage) kept popping up above them. It seemed like it would continue permanently except I was able to select my sovereign and cast icebolt on the wolf which killed it.
