Not sure if you saw this or not BUT firaxis laid off some employees recently. Not sure what this means for civ 5 or the future of the studio and that isn't something to discuss here. It might be a reasonable business practice for you though to go after some of these people...firaxis was in the business of making turn based strategy games so me (a non programmer) thinks the experience would be similar enough to make them useful. *shrug* No idea really if its a good idea or not but thought I would through it out there.
Meh. Big companies do not like that. Possible non-compete contracts or just swagger and arrogance might make them make life difficult for stardock.
1 Stardock employee equals 50 firaxis employees where is the logic there?
J/k kinda sorta not really.
Noncompete: not valid in the states of California or Virginia!
Of course, neither company has offices in those states to my knowledge.
