When you have a group selected, their icons apppear in a row on the right, above the group stats, Select the one who's ggot the item you want to place elsewhere, and click the "Item" tab to show the items. Click and hold on the item you wish to transfer and drag it to the icon of the intended recipient in the row I mentioned. When you release it, the item will be transferred. If the original owner possessed more than one of the item, one will be transferred, the other[s] will be retained.
