Yeah so I've played a few games since yesterday...

I'll try and keep things constructive, and these are mostly first impression suggestions/concerns. Also, if I propose something that is already in game, plz let me know.

1. Game crashes alot... But I've read that alot of players are having this issue... So be it...

2. The game needs a Civencyclopedia sort of help... I click'ed on the question mark top right... Didn't see very much in there... Not even sure what that was.

3. The normal ground is very bland. I read that some graphical improvements are coming, is the ground one of them.

4. Little X's on the top right of small screens/menus are manditory in 2010. Clicking done isn't the same.

5. I'm so bafulled as to what to do in this game lol. Like early on I feel as though I am walled into a certain section of the map by "big" monsters. So in this case I would give my right arm for a tutorial.

1. This is normal at this stage. Once the next update comes out (monday I think) you should start reporting these crashes with the Debug.err file.

2. That "Question Mark" is the help system, it just isn't officially implemented yet, it will be fully fleshed out as the beta goes on.

3. The ground, along with many other textures, are dumbed down for the beta. Frogboy (CEO) said this would remain this way until the Retail release. He wants to hold back some yummy things for us until then!

4. Many menus already have these, but I agree that ALL should.

5. This is mostly a balancing issue I think. Although, I kinda like bunkering down and building up a few cities while getting my army going. Then going out and smashing the "big monsters" with my army of under-equipped peasants!

1. Beta, it's almost supposed to do that

2. That is EWoM's "Civencyclopedia" probably waiting on writing from Random House on that one.

3. You got a option under Video that will help some. "Amount of groundcover". Still not enough for my taste. So not sure on that one. On one hand they are waiting on more art assets, but on the other, has said that he likes his maps "clean".

4. Personaly I would like the game to understand that when I click outside of the city I like to "move on". And not still being in the build meny. I often go like this: Click a city in the "empire tree" -> build some stuff -> click another city -> -> click done -> click another city.

5. Tutorial isn't really beta area. As for being boxed in by unbeatable critters, it's a known bug/balance issue.
