I've jsut launched a new game after a while and updating to the latest version, and found creating the sovereign and its nation absolutely terrible.

There is a clear lack of consistency between the panels, and various tabs are unclear:

When creating the sovereign, check boxes are on the right of the item to check. When customising the nation, they are on the left. Pick your side please!

Creation of a custom sovereign also happens to be tricky. When you customize the appearance, you don't expect to pay points. But you do, and a whole lot, in order to get a sword for instance. Equipment that costs points should not be in the Appearance tab. It doesn't belong there with eye color because it has a gameplay effect!

I also believe the avatars are absolutely ugly for the moment. I'd rather have some beautiful 2D art instead of the current thing.

The panel for nation customisation doesn't allow you to see what you have at one glance. You have to scroll down in order to know what your picks are. This is all the worse since there is no easily found "Clean/Reset" button. Even worse since some points are hidden in a second tab.

All information about the current status of the nation should be visible all the time in the front screen, and a reset button handy nearby.

I am sorry to say that in its current state, this interface makes me run away from the rest of the game.
