There is a repeatable bug that can come up when asked to assign points to your faction (ie, pick out strengths and weaknesses).
Max out all of the faction weaknesses, ensure no strengths are selected. Then change your race. The bonus provided by the weaknesses will remain the your new race will no longer have the weaknesses selected. You can repeat this as many times as you want.
