Printscreen should be outputting images to your My Games/Elemental/Screenshots folder, though in this case a Debug.err may be more useful. Glad the game is now (someshat) working fo you ;)

That really is bizarre. Is this a custom race, perhaps? I see you have the cash and tiles for it. I'll try to reproduct it over here and see what the debugger says. Thanks!
Yikes, looks like the memory got thrashed. Were you getting text before this...i see there is none on the screen in the background.
Thanks guys, these are very helpful!
All the xml for those DATA folders is downloaded at run time, so all those data folders are supposed to be empty. I'm looking into the culprit right now and will let you know what I find :)
Can We get some 'debug.err' files from you guys to get detailed system specs (the data we need is from the DXDiag, towards the top of the file)? Thanks!
That value shouldnt meen anything ATM. You should be getting random people askign you for favors and tiles on the map that trigger quests. I'll do some testing and see what's going on.
Can you guys post your debug.err files here? We've added some key bits of output to help narrow down where/why these crashes could be occuring. Thanks!
It won't show up in Impulse until you've been charged (at which point the email get's sent out). Prorders are still processing, so it should just be a matter of time for anyone who's not seeing it. Like viuexchat said, once you get that email, make sure "Show Pre-release Versions" is checked and you should be good!
As preorders are processed and new users begin downloading (and...gulp... playing ) Elemental, I wanted to extend words of both welcome and warning to our fellow adventurers.... - You are possibly (or definatly , at the time of this post) downloading the 0.291 build from last Friday. You should be on the lookout for v0.295, which we will be announcing one we get one last bug squashed :) - These are the last build of the Beta 1 cycle. This meens you'll be playing
FYI, anybody downloading the game right now is going to get 0.291. The version we're working on releasing today is 0.295.
*PRANCES*
Don't prance TOO soon...we're still in Beta 1 territory, so the build you're getting ain't gonna be pretty ;)
Will it just show up on our Impulse without a serial number?
This, I beleive. And order number is different from Serial number (again, IIRC).
Okay, wait... Just to clarify...
You guys will have access to this beta as well ;) They're processing order as we speak.
More than an hour...we build (current step), then prune/upload files, then stage, then test...if the testing results in no showstoppers, we publish!
I beleive the last of the (obvious) bugs have been squashed. A new build is currently compiling :)
The system is in for AI's and will be hooked up for you human types as well.
Need to get some acheivements in for you guys that find enough bugs :)
Fixed for 1G Update! :) Good catch!
Thanks tiefling! I'll give it a go in the debugger and see what's up.
I don't eleive this is as designed...these upgrades should be, basically, free (you've paid for it by whatever it took to get to the next city level). We'll look into it.
Can you check your "My Games/Elemental/Units" folder? Looks like there are some saved out children units, perhaps? Or is this a game you're trying to start from within a game? Thanks!
Wow, good catch! I'll let the team know about this one.
I noticed a few other stats aren't immediatly available. Next update will have these listed on the unit details wnd (reached by left clicking on the selected uits center medallion).
Actually, this is somethign we're looking at :) There's a modifier applied to the line thickness as the camera get's closer and further from an object. This curve was tweaked for the main map, but I think it needs to be overridden in these up-close screens to make the line more illustrative and less cartoony (the difference of a few pxls width).
I have a bad feeling a lot of these are caused by several memory leaks that exist in this build. Even just in unit design the game's been known to eat through mem, so with these late game crashes, if it seems random, you may jsut want to chalk it up to the leaks (oh, and save often) :)
