Chibiados: It's tons of fun...you should pick it back up! Though I'll admit theres little to no application for it in modern game development :( Perhaps for making small icons, or determining the most important features that make a character read properly. I was a Nintendo kid, so I love the stuff :)

I'm really happy with how this one turned out :) Lots of help on the effects from Chris Freespace who helped make the Sins trailer look so jaw-dropping. Glad you guys dig it!

Per-design, deforestation is now free and placing a building on a forest tile will automatically raze it. I don't believe re-adding forest on an unused razed tile is on the to-do list.
Changed the title to "Resolved" after it prompted an internal discussion and we came to the same realization as you in your edit. You'd be surprised how many times design changes go unnoticed by all but the folks that actually implement the change :)
