AJCrowley: Yeah, I understood what you were saying with the folder sharing. I thought you were also complaining about the warning, though. That's why I said you only get it once. paxx: Yeah, you can disable the built-in firewall. From what I understand, it does a great job of inbound filtering, passing all the popular scan sites. However, it doesn't do any outbound filtering at all. Personally, I'm using Tiny Personal Firewall, which works great in WXP.

berzerka: WPA isn't going anywhere (at least not yet). They've simply relaxed the rules a bit. AJCrowley: Gotcha, WRT the protected folders. Paxx: I'm not a big fan of wizards, either, but as I said earlier, most can be bypassed. I was using W2K also, and after a few days with WXP, I liked it so much, I went ahead and removed the dual-boot and went strictly WXP. I don't miss W2K at all, even though I did like it. I'm not sure what you're talking about with regard to sharing certain folders. What folders are you trying to share? System folders? Yep, I think it's an awesome OS. I was a big W2K fan, but have already discarded it in favor of WXP RC1. Mouseware 9.27, which came with my Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse, installed and works just fine here. You can download XP RC1. It's actually cheaper that way.
