Will there be a touch of randomness in the spells you are able to obtain during one game? One thing that made each game of MoM unique was that you never quite new which Spells you could research (unless you figured out the garbeled characters in your spellbooks which wasn't too hard - but I disgress). Depending on how many picks in each magic realm you had you could chose a number of common, uncommon and rare spells (the parallels to Magic: the Gathering were quite apparent in this re

When implementing such a system (which in itself sounds pretty nifty by the way) you should be careful to change the usual system of production queues. You have to make sure the item on top can't block everything just because one resource is missing. So production should be parallel and not sequential (with the possibility to emphasize perhaps) although then you have to avoid the possibility of a production item on lower priority "stealing" a limited but needed resource from
If you open up a connection window in Pidgin (I don't have it in front of me right now, so this will be a bit rough), you can type in irc.stardock.com
Actually you can also add an account: Protocol: IRC Username: [choose one yourself] Server irc.stardock.com Password: [leave empty] Local alias: [again your choice] In the buddy list you can now go to Tools -> Room List.
Will Scott see Elemental to success[...]
He'd better... I bet money on your success (=pre-order). :D
Preorders don't appear in the My Games page until something is available for you to download (beta, etc).
Had the same "problem" when I pre-ordered Demigod. So I second the suggestion that there should be a list of pre-orders in Impulse. Maybe with news about when the next beta phase is going to start. Nevertheless I pre-ordered Elemental today as well. ;)
