This is great news. I look forward to it.
Not sure which fixed it, I switched server and refreshed XML data and suite download first try. I had been getting a repeating loop of download before that.
Tried that. Still getting endless loop download.
2.49.501 build 162. I have updated every time it asked me to.
All that is happening for me is that it keeps downloading the suite over and over again. The WB skin downloaded just fine, but by the time it had downloaded the suite the fourth time and then restarted, well, I just cancelled. Any ideas?
Great pics TW. Looks like a fun time all around.
Absolutely freaking cool! Way to go.
Once I subscribed to Wincustomize, I noticed that there was a link to set up a site here. I had started a Blogger blog, but was pretty much bored by the lack of any interaction. The crap I wrote just sat there, doing nothing. Started blogging here the beginning of February, 2004 and have been going ever since. I have waxed and waned in my participation (currently wanning), but have enjoyed my time here.
Last chance folks. If you want to be included, send me your email address today/tomorrow. I will be sending the list out to everyone tomorrow afternoon or Friday.
That was actually really, really funny. Thanks for sharing.
San Chonino and I have had some discussion about the direction, etc. of our reviews here at The Prog Geek. As I was doing some work on the master index article, I came upon a disturbing revelation: We rate things here way to freaking high. There are too many 9 and 10 ratings. I just didn't feel we had been appropriately critical. Part of the problem is that this is totally amateur. We review music we have and have listened to, so it stands to reason we w
First off, it is your blog, do whatever the frell you want. But as for me, when I come to one of your articles that continues in the comments, I immediately go away. I refuse to read any of it. It just comes across as a cheap way to get me to click on your blog more. That might be entirely untrue, but it is the way I interpret it. When I hit an article that isn't all there in the article section, I just click my way away from the page, never to read that articl
I'm going to be a doctor. On call. In the ICU. I'm going for realism.
Hope you have a great one bro!
All right. So we have a few folks signing up. I will keep this open until the end of the month. At that time I will compile the list and send it out to people. There are a few who have expressed interest, but haven't yet sent me an address.
I don't get text messaging. I mean, really, I don't get them. But I also don't "get" it. Takes me way too long to type out the little message.
Oh, by the way, loved it. As they would say in Guatemala, pinche buso. Yep, f-ing cool.
I suppose I should check them out. I just might get around to it.
Hame hovit indeed.
Hey sis! Good to see you.
Congrats on the 20 lbs Nic. Good to see you again.
Sory to hear that bro. But hey, now you can head, without reservation.
Hope it goes well. As one who has the privilege and burden of working with nurses on a daily basis, you would be a real asset to the field.
I got to be honest, the jealousy kicks in a bit when I think about your semester in Spain, but not enough for me to begrudge you that opportunity at all. For some silly reason I have it in my mind that I will miss you while you are over there. Then I pull my head out and realize that, with the pretty rare exceptions when we make it out there or you have come out here, we pretty much only communicate electronically (email, IM or phone), so it won't really change that. Have a good one b
San Cho will get this one as well. I first heard this word used in the superb RPG Planescape: Torment. One of the characters, Fall-From-Grace by name, is a succubus who has forgone the things of the flesh and has set up a brothel called the "Brothel for Slaking Intellectual Lusts" wherein the clients converse and philosophize. Yes, the game is that cool.
So, we have about 7 people so far, two more if Whip and San Cho send me their addresses (yeah, I know I should know San Cho's address, but they moved a year ago or so and I just haven't bothered to memorize their new address. My wife probably has it though). Just bumping to keep this alive if some more want in.
