I agree completely Brad. That would really clean up things on the JU side of it and make it more useable. Thanks for all you and your teams efforts on working on this new version of JU.

I finally passed my kidney stone. I only have a few more months of General Surgery, then it is Urology full time. I am enjoying living vicariously through my brother as he enjoys himself in Spain. We are trying (albeit somewhat unsuccessfully) to potty-train our youngest. I am toying around with the idea of blogging regularly again.

Interesting program. I don't really see it doing anything for me that I can't do with OD+ and Keyboard launchpad, but still a decent idea. It will be interesting to see it develop and mature.

Please refer to the previous post to fully understand my excitement. It is sufficient to say that I passed my stone. Hooray. I just have some vague lingering discomfort in my back, but nothing like it was. Thank goodness. Carry on.

Very possible that this has been mentioned, sorry if it has: Please adjust the category option for new articles. Why not have everything collapsed by default and let the user expand the subject they want? As it is, I have to collapse a bunch to just try to find what category I am looking for.

Whip: You know, I can honestly say that your description isn't that far off from what happens in a lot of ERs. The problem, as I see it, is that ERs are used to being abused. With the current health care system, the number of people who use an ER as their "primary care" office, or sort of walk in Urgent Care clinic. What ends up happening is that the whole triage system ends up broken. ER staff just get used to lots of people coming in that don't really be

The time quickly approaches. I really only have a few months left as a General Surgery resident. Then I make the transition to Urology resident. To be quite honest, I am incredibly excited. Not only am I incredibly tired of General Surgery, I look forward to focusing my time and energy on what I will be practising for the rest of my life. But yesterday I

1. More options to customize our blogs. I know this is a significant undertaking, but it seems odd that a blog site run by the specialist in customization has the least customizable (and subjectively least attractive) blog site on the net (at least that I am aware of). I don't even think we need to be able to edit our own HTML or CSS, but at least some different templates and the ability to add/remove sidebar items at our discretion. I understand some of this may be coming

Yo sis. Hope it works out for you. I have to admit, there is no way I could be an RA. I would become homicidal. With a personality like that, I suppose it is good I am a doctor, no? ;)

I did some digging around in the Maxthon options, couldn't find anything that seemed to affect it. I changed some options that appeared to have the slightest chance of affecting this, but no change. Oh well. I suppose I will just have to use IE or Firefox, though it bugs that the text editor in Firefox doesn't allow pasting.
I doubt that we have ever tested with Maxthon since our user stats never even have enough users of it to register it as being used f

Dharma: I'm sorry to hear this. I hope that things work out the best for you both, whatever that best may be. I'm sorry for your pain.

Well, well, well. It would appear that this is, in fact, not an issue with Internet Explorer afterall. It is an issue with Maxthon. Odd. I have never seen this before. I am going to have to dig around with the Maxthon options and see if I can find something.
It's a terrible time to post it though, Dev.
That it is. I don't disagree. Unfortunately, I just haven't had much of any time lately. Being on the Trauma service in prime skiing/snowboarding/snowmobile accident time keeps you hoping.
I'd hate to see you go, bro,
I won't lie, I would like to start blogging some more. But this is just so aggravating. And I am not about to perform a clean reinstall of Windows to fig
I hope some weeny can figure it out, Dev, I'd miss your blog...even though you don't post often enough!
That is kind of you LW. The truth is, this issue is the reason I haven't posted since the new site went up. I promise, if this went away, I would be much more active. It just becomes such a hassle.
Have you set the proper permissions in your firewall (ie: 'always allow this program to connect to the internet?)
I don't use a software firewall. I use a hardware firewall. I don't think that is the issue. Thanks for the suggestion though.

So, the new JU is here. Lest I sound alarmist, I won't say what I really think. SanChonino knows. However, I am having some issues. Okay, one big issue. One that has prevented me from even having the slightest desire to come here. One that will, ultimately, result in my permanent exodus from this site if I cannot discover a remedy. <img src="http://img137.
