Wait for them to process your order would be my guess. I can't remember how long it took when I got in, but it wasn't long. Edit: Ninjaed by a far more thorough response. Have fun waiting, guys. [e digicons]:P[/e]

In addition to the previously reported issue that cliffs in cloth map view appear as if they ought to be walkable, forests now appear to have non-obvious boundaries in both cloth map view, and when zoomed in. Examples: In this screenshot, the square 1W of that party of adventurers (2W of my sovereign) barely has a few scraggly bits in it, but apparently it's a full blown forest. By comparison, the square 2N of my sovereign only just barely has less trees, but th

Basically, I started building a merchant. Unfortunately, I ran into that bug where the building goes in a different square to where you click. So I demolished the building, and built it in the spot where I actually wanted it. However, the building did not show up. I was on the cloth map zoom level at the time. So at this point, no merchant buildings were displaying. I zoomed in to see what was going on, and it showed the merchant still on the first location that it had built, so I zoo

The description of the meditative sovereign trait contains the text "without the aide of a city" instead of "without the aid of a city". The description of the organized sovereign trait contains the text "armies lead by the sovereign" instead of "armies led by the sovereign". There was also something (may or may not have been a sovereign trait, I can't quite remember now) that I noticed in Beta 1 that I can't quite find at the moment that read "bonus to a cities production" in

I believe the game downloads the relevant game files from the internet every single time you start the game, and runs off that. Perhaps a previous version of the game was making a local copy of the files as well, and the current one does not (or vice versa)? A bit weird, either way.

Assuming I'm getting the same problem as jpinks, the symptoms aren't the same as for the v0.262 lockup. This one (v0.32) doesn't seem to be particularly associated with any action, and it's never actually happened for me at the end of a turn. One time it was when I was just scrolling around the map, the other time I was looking at the research screen, and the third time I think I was looking at my sovereign's detailed info screen. I don't appear to be getting a memory dump. <a href="h

C:\Users\All Users is just a shortcut to C:\ProgramData on my Win7 machine, and the search function (eventually) found the files there just fine. If you can't find them there then I'm a little stumped. The ProgramData folder is hidden (as is the All Users shortcut, for that matter), so maybe your computer wasn't searching there for some reason? That's the only explanation I can think of.

It's not exposed yet (I will get around to doing that as I learn Python, I'm making the AI in C++ for now and then will port things to Python).
Do you anticipate there being any speed issues with this? Civ4 left the AI in C++, and I gather this was largely for speed reasons. Are you moving it out to Python purely to make it easier for modders to access it, and do you inten
One of the things we thought we would have to wait until a sequel would be to let players mix their races together when they build up their kingdom or empire.
This is fantastic. This is one of the first things that I'd been intending to try to mod in, but if it's in the game as stock then so much the better. A lot of the other things that have been suggested in this thread is stuff that I'd also love to see.

I got the same thing. In my case, it happens not just when ending turn, but at other times as well. Once it happened when loading a save game, another time it was just when moving a unit. Debug.err

I got a quest to go rescue some knight dude (and the quest location was all the way on the other side of a mountain range, in a region I hadn't explored, right on the edge of enemy territory, so I really had to work for it too). After (finally) getting to the cave, I freed the knight. I wasn't sure what to do at that point, since in my previous game, taking the knight back to my city as instructed didn't do anything. So I tried to take a look at the quests pane in the nation overview screen.

After building my seventh city, I was suddenly hit with a massive 700 gold per turn in city upkeep costs. It's my understanding that it's only supposed to be 6g/turn for the seventh city? Savegame , Debug.err

I had a weird episode in my most recent game where this suddenly started working again. I was very surprised, because I'd previously been using these keys to cycle between cities/units. Then all of a sudden, it started moving my sovereign instead. Annoyingly enough, it even moved my sovereign when he wasn't selected. In the end, I manually selected one of my cities. By that point, my sovereign had run out of movement points, so hitting the numpad keys did nothing. However, after I added a bui

I've had techs go "missing" after a reload as well. In my case it was the weapons that were unlocked by the first melee weapon tech. The tech itself still showed as having been completed in the research screen though. It seems that save/reload is just messed up across the board.

I had my sovereign stationed within the city of Estrian, and ordered him to move out to the space immediately to the northwest. Instead of doing that, he took the rather convoluted path as illustrated by the arrows, meaning he effectively spend four movement points doing nothing that turn. Although, now that I come to think about it, the whole mechanics of garrisoning a unit i

This one's a bit of a mix of bug and suggestion, interface and gameplay, so I didn't bother to assign it a category. First of all, I designed some units in the unit designer, gave one of them a dagger and a cloak. I played a bit, quit the game. I started up a new game, and when I researched Equipment, the unit with the dagger and cloak appeared in my unit list. Except, since I hadn't yet researched Melee Weapons, it didn't actually have a dagger. In fact it had no weapon at all, which

Huh, you're right, rebooting did fix it. Although as I said, the problem persisted after a clean uninstall/reinstall, which, erm, it shouldn't. And there's a new problem now anyway, disabling the advanced lighting whatever now causes the map to turn completely black. Again, that never happened in my original install, and the only thing that's changed since then is the install location.

The game was initially working just fine, but I realised that I hadn't installed it in my preferred location, so I moved it. I then did the detect application thingy from within Impulse, and updated the game (it was already updated, but since Impulse assumes that all detected applications are v0.0, it insists on re-applying the updates anyway). Subsequent to that, most text within the game just doesn't display at all. At first I thought it might have been because it didn't like me jus
