[0.295][Bug/Graphics] Most game/menu text does not display

The game was initially working just fine, but I realised that I hadn't installed it in my preferred location, so I moved it. I then did the detect application thingy from within Impulse, and updated the game (it was already updated, but since Impulse assumes that all detected applications are v0.0, it insists on re-applying the updates anyway). Subsequent to that, most text within the game just doesn't display at all.

At first I thought it might have been because it didn't like me just moving the installation folder, so I did a clean uninstall/reinstall, but that didn't have any effect. After that I decided to make sure it wasn't anything to do with the already known font issue, so I manually installed the fonts into my windows/fonts directory, and that also had no effect.

Did you try to get rid of the my documents/elemental folder ?

Try rebooting your machine. Failing that, you'll need to reinstall properly at that location. Most likely moving it broke the font registrations, but it's hard to say whether it's a temporary (reboot) or permanent (reinstall) problem.

Huh, you're right, rebooting did fix it. Although as I said, the problem persisted after a clean uninstall/reinstall, which, erm, it shouldn't.

And there's a new problem now anyway, disabling the advanced lighting whatever now causes the map to turn completely black. Again, that never happened in my original install, and the only thing that's changed since then is the install location.
