I keep having the game lock up on me and all I can do is CTRL ALT DEL and kill it from task manager. Its done this the last several times I have been playing. Anyone else having this?
It's been reported in past betas, as in this thread, but I haven't seen it reported in Beta 1Z3. If you still have the debug.err or can recreate the problem and get a new one, you might want to post it as suggested in this thread.
Assuming I'm getting the same problem as jpinks, the symptoms aren't the same as for the v0.262 lockup. This one (v0.32) doesn't seem to be particularly associated with any action, and it's never actually happened for me at the end of a turn. One time it was when I was just scrolling around the map, the other time I was looking at the research screen, and the third time I think I was looking at my sovereign's detailed info screen. I don't appear to be getting a memory dump.
Edit: Forgot to mention, it seems to happen pretty consistently after about half an hour of playing. I've not actually been timing it to see how long it takes, and I haven't tried just letting the game sit there doing nothing for half an hour to see if it still locks up, so this may just be coincidence.
Oh I can recreate it. Happened again last nite. Seems between turn 160 and 180. Havent been able to get further into a game.
