You know, there are more than two ways to think. If you limit yourself to being a Democrat/Liberal or a Republican/Conservative, you're just showing that you have no capacity for independent thought. Just because you disagree with this radical left, and disagree with how some of the social services they promote are run, and some of the constituency they serve, doesn't automatically make you a Republican. Personally, I have disagreemen

They were classic when I had them ... 99-02... First car was an 84 Dodge Charger... true, it was a front wheel drive without a lot of power - but it was one fun car to drive. It made up for lack of power by being very light and nimble.
Mopar rocks. I had a 76 Duster, then a 67 Belvedere. (as well as other assorted later models)...
where do you get Windows Vista? -=TYCUS=- You don't, unless you're a member of the MSDN network, which isn't free.
Well, I didn't mean to be rude. Like I said, I won't try to say anything about childbirth. You're the one who called B.S. on something that I happen to know a lot about (as do a lot of men). I felt that showed a lack of understanding of the situation. I apologize if it came across as a personal attack - it was not meant that way.
I personally don't see any problem with taking those two words out of the pledge....rather that than make the whole thing illegal Well basically that's the point. With those two words - that is, as it stands now, it's a problem, therefore it can't be said. However, I'm willing to bet (a cup
The Mahjong is the best update!!!!! As far as the old games... I bet you'll still be able to run them if you copy the EXE's... MS's dirty secret is that you can even run games from Windows 1.0 (if you can find the files)... I downloaded some windows 1.0 programs and they still ran in XP. Shocking.
As a man..... I obviously don't know what it's like to be a woman.... but I'll comment anyway as you wrote this not knowing what it's like to be a man. The testicles are not just soft... they are EXTREMELY fragile... they can suffer permanent damage if struck in the wrong way... they are so soft because they have to actually be below body temperature to function correctly, so they have to "hang out" a bit.. That said... I don't think
I got 19. Having a degree in History helps
I'm spiritual. I believe there's a spiritual aspect to life not explained by science. That said, i've also studied a lot more of human history (and therefore humanity itself) than most of you. It's what my degree was in. I know enough of human history to have serious doubts about the authenticity of this book we call the bible. Much of it was made up, created
I'd guess Xaml
I wish more people would come out on JoeUser with the kind of statement you just made. I should post... but then again I feel like I'm fighting the tide in the Bay of Fundy on this topic. Maybe JoeUser isn't the best place for someone of a Liberal mind. I think what many fundies fail to realize is that many of us 'non-christians' are just as moral (or more) as they are, and have goodwill toward our fellow man, often more than they do,
How can I be afraid of something I don't believe exists? Your analysis completely misses the entire point. I would actually PREFER there were a God and that the universe worked according to just laws and principles. I do not, however, believe that to be the case. How can you not get the basic concept of non-belief? Are you afraid of the Giant Space Spaghetti Monster? No? Maybe it's because you don't believe it actually exists...
Considering there is already a x64 version of XP, of course there will be an x64 version of Vista. But, I understand that x32 and x64 will remain separate versions I hope users get NO CHOICE in which version installs. Why? I have an x64 - I *want* to run x64 version, no reason I shouldn't.
Anyone notice on Thurrott's site the explanation of these versions: http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/winvista_editions.asp Notice on the list of features - the ONLY edition that includes "consumer" items, and 2 processor support, is Ultimate. The question to be asked is - how are they counting processors? Do Dual-Core processors show up as 2 processors? Does this mean that any of us who are running dual core will be forced to buy Ultimat
I have Vista Beta one installed on ym computer but I havent seen any implementation of the task preview or the new alt tab...any one have any ideas to as why? Thanks in advance. That's because this is a new PDC build... not beta one. I think.
I bet that alternative alt-tab will be cursed by the same problem that the current 'task switcher powertoy' is - that many apps (such as winamp) have multiple primary windows, only some of which are intended to be seen. With winamp, for example, when using the alt-tab with 'task switcher powertoy', you see that the Classic skinned interface is *still present* and is just hidden by the modern skin. There are several other apps that don't like screenshot
I seriously doubt anyone's actually forgotten.
You mean we can all stop installing Cygwin tools?
The English Teacher in me feels inclined to point out an error on the DesktopGadgets website: "Start create your gadgets today with DesktopX 3 Professional!" That should be "creating" not "create". Cheers
I don't ever remember getting a draft card.. I had to register back when I was 18... never came up again, even with financial aid.. I always just checked the box that I was already registered.... as well as I thought that it didn't apply past 24 to 26 years old. (Yeah I know it's a late reply, I don't come to JoeUser often enough)
One more thing.... is there any chance y'all could Normalize the volume levels when mixing the podcast? It's extremely annoying when I have to turn it up to hear Kristen(sp?), and then Brad's voice blows me out of my chair... Mixing problem...
Well I live in Texas and I'm planning to move to a Blue state within the next year... I thing Texas is having quite a bit of Brain Drain lately...
As far as PNG icons being the standard.... I *thought* we were supposed to get Vector support? PNG isn't vector so far as I know ... Also - what tips are there to developers of *current* applications to get them Vista-Ready? Is there a full release of Visual Studio yet that supports these new interfaces? I admit I don't check often... don't do a LOT of progra
Have just started listening to these podcasts (and podcasts in general)... Nice. Now.... is there a gadget/widget that will do the work of iPodder for me? I just need scheduled updates and downloads to a directory... preferably with notifications of new podcasts. No iPod here, they go onto the Palm (which is far from automagic unfortunately)
