Google Chrome is seductive. Based on the same super-simple mindset of the search engine itself, it allows you to get right down to the business of browsing and think of nothing else - that can be a good thing. Downloaded the latest beta, but I still can't see the tab bar in Google Chrome. When I add Chrome.exe to the exclusions list, I get a black titlebar instead of the tabbar as well. What settings are needed to get this working? EDIT: Grr, apparently Impulse failed to completely update WB when I told it to - even though it asked me to reboot. Loaded Impulse and there was a "paused" download for WB..... grr. Trying again, maybe it will work now.

What about multiple copies of IconPackager appearing? That's what I have - not sure why. Also, it has activation issues with IconPackager frequently, but not with any other apps.

Long Live CRT! I'll go LCD when they pry my pair of 21" Trinitrons from my cold, dead hands. I like being able to run at whatever resolution suits me/the game I'm playing. And Trinitrons are ultra-crisp compared to any other type of CRT.

I've been using Vista since two weeks before the official release. I'm relatively satisfied, but one thing still bugs me: Vista doesn't do File Tagging, Rating or Commenting. Seriously. They SAY it does, but it does not. What it does do, is edit metadata in a very few file types that have internal metadata which Vista understands. Shows updates available for a lot of apps, yet the actual versions are not all updates, some are. The sample in the image shows the same version as I have installed A lot of the updates are showing here but not in SDC - is this one running a little "ahead" then on the beta versions? Also - am I just missing it, or is there no longer a way to view the "history" to tell what's updated in a new version. Quite important for those of us who run the betas to know just what is coming

I'm getting the Server Error 0 problem also. Apparently this happens if you delete a published post and then try to repost it. Of course, that's GOING to happen since Live Writer doesn't provide an "edit last post" option. This is a COMPLETE show stopper as I've not yet found a fix. Useless.

You should be able to "upgrade" your installed version of Vista given a couple of caveats. First - you will need to buy the same version that you have installed. If you installed Ultimate, then you need to buy Ultimate. You can't change versions after installing without doing the Anytime Upgrade - which requires a legal copy of Vista.
