On the negative scale between evil and good, if both races are good or evil will there be a positive? Or will it balance out to 0? Oops, I was looking at the scale again and found it, must have missed it the first time. On a slightly unrelated note, my son found an article from sometime back that said Stardock was in negotiation for the title Master of Orion. Having played that back in the college days, I was just wondering if there were any truth to it, or whether it had gone beyo

My oldest son was dyslexic, which was something that wasn't caught until he was 8. It really was amazing how dramatic the turn around was when we were able to figure out exactly why he hated to read and do math, and other things of the sort. Good luck to you Brad in helping your children become adults. I'm having to do much the same sort of thing again with my sister's child, and I got to tell you, even after having done it three times already, it's still difficult.

That you, Kingbee, can't recognize McKinney as a moonbat speaks a lot about how far left you are Just to get my little "gotcha" in, it could just mean Brad that you don't realize how far right you are... But seriously, far lefters have a far more difficult time getting elected in this country than far righters. The country has, a

Bahu - Find the caps lock key and then buy a clue. You and folks like you are the reason that the Dems are not a valid party anymore either. Who would want to be associated with people who sound like that? Democrats do know how to properly use a caps lock button. Yahoos don't. I suggest that Yahoos are present on both sides, and on

I've long been in favor of teaching calculus at the same time as Algebra. A lot of the math becomes easier (fewer steps) when done in Calculus instead of having to factor and derive using just algebra.

Interestingly you can have global warming and global cooling at the same time. It's an interesting theoretical process and the models, though on a vastly accelerated level, were used in the movie "The Day After Tomorrow". CO2 is not a significant green house gas. There ya go, a member of the leftist intelligentsia has said that. No one who actually knows anything about climate effects will state otherwise. HOWEVER, an increase in even 100 ppm can have a dramatic

Now, think how much gas you'd be saving if you had a car that got 35+ miles to the gallon. I also live fairly close to my job, but my son is forced, via economic necessity to live rather far away. He's saving up to get a more fuel efficient car so that, coincidentally, he can spend less money on gas. My stance has always been, live as close to work as you possibly can, and get a car that has the greatest fuel efficiency. Whether that's a holier than attitude, I'm not s

Note the bolded country. How many reading this blog know that China offered to help the US after the 06 Earthquake, but were refused? I think that was very small of the American Administration at the time. 06 earthquake? You lost me there. I believe he's refering to the earthquake of 1906, at which point the United States didn't rea

Buying music on-line is pretty aweful. The only website I've ever found that was even somewhat convenient for it was the itunes website, and if they don't have your song, you're SoL.

For the record, Cows and Yaks also produce viable offspring, though interestingly enough if you get a 3/4 cow or a 3/4 Yak, they're no longer viable.

Brad, good job with this post, and for once we completely agree on something. First off, the Bible discounts the kind of Intelligent Design that has been thrown around in previous posts on this thread. The only "fiddlin" that God did with Evolution, from the biblical perspective, is to create everything. Now assuming that's true, Evolution is not disproven, or even said to be wrong. Societies evolve, for instance. The Roman Empire "evolved" from a group of huts on a hill to an E

I'm also a little wary of the fact that Microsoft will be able to sell targeted ad space within the games they sell for the 360, the gaming platform and the graphics look awesome, but I really hate product placement.

While they are not correct in their assertion, unless you can get the magistrate or bankruptcy judge to order them to pay you, your 300k is probably gone. Knowing that as a corporation you probably have a lawyer sitting around somewhere (If not on retainer, one you've used in the past) he'll need to take your claim for debt to the bankruptcy judge and it will have to be settled up there. At any rate, since they signed a legally binding contract, even if the 300k is gone, there's no way you owe

(Prepares to insert comment from democrats supporting Immigrants being able to become successful on their own) My Grandfather jumped ship in the United States. I am, therefore, descended from illegal immigrants. My father missed being born in a foreign country by two years, and most of his siblings were not born into American citizenship. My grandfather worked very hard at a variety of things (Mostly construction work in Utah) until the

The officer corp has been established. There are now seven individuals, besides myself with the power to remove. All other positions should be the same. If you receive worried messages about how people were demoted this morning, don't worry, they weren't really demoted, WOW just doesn't allow me to add a rank above existing ranks.

It has come to my attention that certain members feel that there are too many officers. While I'm not sure I agree, I'd like the guild to weigh in on the discussion. The most popular, of what has been brought to me, suggestion is to create an elected officership from each class, where all the class members have an election every set period of time, a month or similar period. If you have any other ideas or like the way things are right now, please comment here.

There has been some complaint as to language used in the guild. As such, there is now an official guild language policy. Adult content is to be reserved till after 8pm game time. Guild members will be warned about this, but should I, or any of the Gold dragons feel this policy is being violated willfully or maliciously, removal will result. There is to be no verbal harasment of any members. You will get one warning, than removal. If you feel the warnin

Can I get a link? I know I could spend hours searching myself (and for those who would laugh it would be hours, because I'm an old man who knows how to type and select icons, but that's as far as it goes), but I'm technically disinclined, and while I could have my son do it, he'd give me more sass than members of this community. Thanks y'all Cheers
