if it is,
Have you actually tried it and been able to or are you just asking? They're supposed to only be buildable on forests.

Roundup updated for 0.255.
There may be an unrevealed resource there, too.
Crashes are still a big priority, but beyond that, things relating to new stuff being added are up there too. Any bugs are worth reporting (if they are actually bugs and not just NYI stuff), it's really just a question of focus and priority.
Make sure you're not using some funny font/size overrides. Also as ferang noted, our sites are designed for only the current version of firefox, not any older ones.

Roundup updated for 0.25 release weekend.
If AA is your issue, were you running in windowed mode?
The blocked tile probably contains an unresearched resource.
The entire map disappeared, or just the UI?
Everyone who's seeing this, please link your debug files.
Edited title. Not a bug, just an iffy design. I've gimped my cities too :p
Basic soldiers should have 2 moves, enough to get 1 tile/turn on unpaved terrain. AFAIK speed does not impact map movement.
I then did a complete un-install and re-install of the game and got the same problems, as well as dog-slow game speed, which was odd, it's always been reasonably snappy for me. It's faster in windowed mode however.
Please post your debug.err via pastebin.
Changed the title. I could've sworn in 1A I was only fighting the evil factions.
As noted in #1, they've since been disabled completely.
My graphics card produces different kinds of screeching and/or humming noises depending on what menu I'm in. Yes, my graphics card, not the fan or anything like that. In the main menu, it's like a long (consistent) screech which is loud enough for me to hear it from where I sit in front of the monitor.
Sounds like time to look into a new video card... the magic smoke might soon escape if it's actually making auible noise from the solid-state components.
Are you sure it was an included unit or might it have been a pre-eixisting design from the last build (some of those are no longer available)? A screenshot would be very helpful, so please include one if you can reproduce this.
Just to be sure, you did not remove the opponents at startup? You can also press Ctrl+U to reveal the entire map.
Are you picking them directly or drag-dropping them?
Which method did you use to access the tech screen (compass button in the research bar, kingdom button, etc)?
Are you running the game at a different fullscreen res than your desktop? If a fullscreen app crashes hard enough, it can sometimes fail to reset the res. Also, please post your debug/dxdiag via pastebin.
Gameguard is controversial due to the way it is installed and the degree to which it can intercept or block normal system functions (it actually seems to share a number of elements with StarForce, just from reading about it). It's part of why there was such a huge outcry over it in Aion--so much so that it was dropped from the NA release. If you're having issues with it, it's more likely something that you should pursue with them or with the publisher whose game installed it on your s
Have you updated your drivers? Works fine on RTM.
