What happened to prompt this posting? A debug.err alone is not too useful without any context.

195.62 with the stanadard windows extended desktop handling (neither mirrored nor using the nVidia span function which treats it as a single wide display).

If you're still running into this, ploease provide the map seeds from your debug.err files so the devs can find the cases that are still slipping through.

If you preordered a month ago then you should have been granted access with Beta 1G a couple of weeks ago. Any orders after that point are in the queue for Beta 2 in April.

I use Win7x64 with an 8800GT and dual monitors myself and the game works fine, so it's not any issue native to that setup. Do you have any other apps running that may be monopolizing D3D?

Preorders are being queued for Beta 2, which we're currently expecting to have sometime next month. At that point any pending preorders will be charged and those people will get access, though we'll probably leave it open to immediate preorders for a few days before closing it again.

I don't think we have any plans to change the pricing at present, though retail may and usually does charge below MSRP.

We're working to have less mystery meat math in the game this time around, which should make stuff much easier to effectively document (without it going rapidly out of date).

Try rebooting your machine. Failing that, you'll need to reinstall properly at that location. Most likely moving it broke the font registrations, but it's hard to say whether it's a temporary (reboot) or permanent (reinstall) problem.

Z-ordering issues in the dialogs are generally going to be unrelated to hardware or drivers, unless the dialog backgrounds are outright failing to appear. Screenshots and specifics about which windows are doing it would be most helpful though.

Something like this isn't really technically possible (not without an inordinate amount of work, anyway) until we get proper usergroups implemented in the forums. Which is on Bara's todo list, though I couldn't say how soon.

(cant have children?)[/quote] On that note it might actually be interesting to have a "sterile" weakness--no kids means you can't inherit anything from defeated players, but I'm not sure we'd want something like that that disables an entire gameplay element.

We're planning to clear the queue out this thursday, though I don't think we'll be leaving it open for immediate charge this time.

These techs are repeatable.

Edge scrolling has been in for quite some time--make sure you're in fullscreen mode (you may also need to tweak the scroll speed in the options).
