As it's a laptop, overheating is definitely a possibility. You may also have just run the battery dead if you weren't on line power.

As was said, if people have ideas and we like them, we'll use them. If this thread is just going to be an argument rather than a platform for ideas though, it's outlived its usefulness.
Probably not tonight.
We're having some forum issues today--trying to clean up the dupes. Please redirect discussion to the original post or the most updated one .
Please link your debug.err file as noted in the reporting guide. We can't begin to even guess without any info.
We're investigating an issue with excessive CPU usage on some setups. If you're seeing poor performance on a high end machine, that's probably it (if you watch the perf tab in taskman while playing, you'll probably see you're running around 100% CPU). The top part of your debug.err with your hardware/driver info may be helpful in this.
It's still open. If you set prerelease versions to display and it's not showing up, please contact . You may have some registration issue that they should be able to help with.
If you're having graphic issues, we need your debug.err and screenshots. Descriptions don't really do it.
Updated for 3A.
If it's crashing on a particular turn, please provide the savegame to reproduce it as well.
Question Stardock: Does your Limit FrameRate emulate VSync and if so, to your knowledge, does it work?
AFAIK it just adds idle cycles to prevent certain video cards from trying to render obscenely high framerates and causing overheating issues.
Please post your debug.err file via pastebin or dropbox, it should give some insight.
I didn't see this one listed, but I have noticed that in Auto Combat, the last units in the stack are always the ones that seem to die even if less powerful units are listed higher up in the stack. A number of times I hired a champion and added him or her to the bottom of my stack only to have him killed while peasants remained.
What does the combat log say happened during the fight when you see this?
First, the first Wild Game building, the one that provides "x2 Food Production" / "100% Food Increase" can not be built at all.
Your screenshot shows that that build has a zero-tile requirement, which has been an issue with other improvements in previous builds. That's probably the problem here as well.
or i must to build another pionier and go build a city ?
Check the buttons when you have a pioneer selected. They can harvest distant resources as well as found cities.
There's an option in the settings to trap the cursor to the game window, so you can edge scroll with multiple monitors.
Others have also noted difficulties getting farms to become available for construction, so the slope is probably not related to this.
If your debug, err file is too large for pastebin, please post it via dropbox (with the line breaks preserved) instead. Posting it inline makes the thread unreadable. Also, please provide the memory dump when reporting any crash, or note if one was not created.
Looks like a rounding issue. If you look in the city details, you'll see that the farm is actually producing 3.2 food.
Only named units (heroes, sovereigns, heirs, etc) actually gain XP and level. Generic units don't.
If only that particular save crashes on load, it'd be helpful if you provided it also.
As Brad noted, it's been moved to the modding suite (which is disabled in the public builds at the moment).
Please provide some context when reporting a crash.
Please provide the memory dump when reporting any crash, or note if one was not created.
