The debug.err file still may have been useful, though it's probably been overwritten by now. Please grab that next time, if nothing else.

If you're having crashes we need your debug.err file, memory dumps, and any applicable savegames. We really can't help much based on "crash, crash, crash", so please provide those files as noted in the reporting guide.
If it's hanging on a particular save, the save itself would also help.
I'm from Singapore in Asia. Can i buy the digital download???
So long as you have a valid payment method, you can buy it anywhere.
And since you obviously hate pirating so much mind telling me if availability of a software product in retail makes pirating that product more or less likely?
Things get pirated either way. If you actually work in software distribution as you claim to, that you'd even consider piracy is shameful.
the standard price in europe which is usually about £25
At the low end. Newer PC games in mainland Europe range anywhere from €30 to €50 . Starcraft 2 is €60 . The simple fact of the matter is that the UK is enjoying price ranges right now that were set a couple of years ago when the po
Paypal is fine for released games or during open beta periods. It just can't do the delayed charges so you can't preorder with it while orders are on queue.
I've got a debit card, and I had no problems purchasing the game.
European debit cards tend to be pin-only rather than allowing them to be signed for as with a credit card (VISA check cards are fairly common here and generally offer both options). Currently we don't support pin-based transactions, AFAIK.
The 9550 doesn't have Shader 2 support and is much, much weaker since it's two generations older--the game isn't likely to run well if it does, so I'd strongly advise waiting for the demo post-release if you can't upgrade.
I live in England, will I be able to download this via impulse still?
Yes, you'll be able to buy and download it anywhere.
Agreed. It's usually cheaper to get it from e-bay anyway if you need the box... Can't even remember the last time I bought a game in a store.
Just be extremely careful doing that if that's the way you go. E-bay tends to be rife with bootleggers.
I just purchased the pre-release yesterday, and I have the box checked, but no Beta. Several others on the stardock forum have said something similar.
The beta was closed to new entrants after we released Beta 4 Thursday afternoon. Any orders made after then will be queued and charged at release.
The Limited Edition will be available until we run out, but we'll have plenty to last well after release.

Please provide your debug.err file and any memory dump that was generated by the crash. We can't do much without real info.
Are there any techs listed in the research screen under that category?
If you're getting a spontaneous reboot, you're probably getting a BSOD but have windows set to suppress them. The info that would be on the BSOD should be listed in the event viewer in control panel.
When you are reporting a crash, please provide any context you can about what you were doing in the game when the crash occurred. The dump is very helpful but background info will allow us to better categorize and prioritize it for developer review.
It is intended that starter gear cannot be sold.
Were you having other crashes? The debug.err file in the dump zip seems to indicate it's from a save-load crash.
It seems to work correctly for me.
First off... wow ... things are looking good, almost got through my first whole game, reached the memory error .. but I see that has it's own post and you guys are on top of it.

3. Game got slow at about turn 190, saving and re-loading the game fixed this for a few turns at least.
Even if others are reporting these issues, your own debug.err and memory dumps can help resolve them faster.
Please provide the savegame also in case it's something particular to that one.
Please post your debug.err file when reporting any sort of issue. We can't do much without any technical info.
Try manually setting the game to your desktop resolution in the prefs.ini file.
