Please upload the bad saves to drop.io and post the link here so we can check them out.

Can you check what temperature your GPU is running at when this occurs? If you don't have a temperature monitor currently, ATITool will allow you to do this.
Yours is fine, my post was a general response as the OP and first replier did not post theirs.
Please contact to determine where the error occurred first. They should then be able to advise what the best thing to do with the extra box is.
Copying the disc files or just sharing the drive over your network should work fine.
And then I cannot seem to do a danged thing about the WALL.
The campaign story popups (re-readable via the campaign log ) should indicate that you need to send some troops back around to the four cities, then reunite with your main force from the west side of the Obsidian Wall. <a href="http://www.screencast.com/users/fxkryo/folders/Jing/media/e4cbdc69-6b6
Is it a captured minor race city? Those ones cannot level up.
Much to my surprise however, it arrived twice . I received two boxes, each containing a copy of the boxed game.
It's hard to say just how that could happen as the boxes are packed and shipped by a third party fulfillment center. But please contact so they can investigate.
Not to mention that on my receipt after preordering, shipping costs were around ~12.60 pounds
but the supplies don't spawn, so I can't queue the next part of the quest.
You should be able to continue on to Pariden and up the coast north regardless. All that matters for progress is that the Gilden dialog was triggered.
Can you post a screenshot to illustrate the issue?
Best bet is to contact support anyway in that case, so they can investigate.
Please open your debug.err file in notepad, and link the contents into a post here via [link="http://pastebin.ca"]pastebin[/link]. If this happens, try clearing out the Screens folder in C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic on Windows XP).

Does this happen with any particular units/equipment, or all of them?
Are you sure that was the only error in the event log? There should be a system error from the BSOD--application errors can't cause a BSOD under modern windows versions. Usually BSODs are caused by driver or hardware issues.
Zooming in then back out should get you back into clothmap mode until we can resolve this issue.
Did this happen in a second game in the same session, or had you exited and restarted the program?
There's an issue with 1.07 where autosaves occur before new units are spawned. They should be in manual saves made after the turn is complete though. We've fixed this internally for the next update.
If there was a dump zip created in C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic on Windows XP), please post it via [link="http://www.drop.io"]drop.io[/link].
Using the city build zoom option should work around this until we have a resolution.
Did you install via Impulse or from a retail disc?
This only happens on custom sizes, the predefined sizes (even the largest) do not?
