When I start out I can build kingdom huts. After a while I've always been going for researching "Housing" which gives Kingdom House. The problem I have is that then I have to destroy the hut to build the house. It would be great if the hut itself had an upgrade option to turn into a higher level of housing.

I hit this too but it led me to another question - can we get a "delete" design button on the design unit screen please? Cleaning the directory is fine, but I can see needing to throw away designs in the future.

Some random suggestions as I play through today: 1) When a unit is available at a city there is a circle icon displayed in the lower left. Clicking on it reveals an up arrow. Clicking that up arrow deploys the unit. It would be great if the entire circle became the deploy arrow (i.e. a double click anywhere in the circle deployed the unit). It can be difficult to get that up arrow clicked for us old folks (or even better, when on an airplane in turbulence using

One minor addition - the card for the watchtower has the last word cut off: "...thus revealing the surrounding". The word "area" should probably be there. It's either missing or the fourth line is cut off.

I actually second this request. I had some crashes in 0.24 that are fixed now and so I'm ready to move on to the next level. I too am curious what the current feedback target is. Clearly Brad wants us to look at the tech screens and tech tree from his post, and maybe it's time to start analyzing the economy as well, but it would be great to get some official guidance.

In terms of comparison (I have 6Mbps DSL at home which I measure out at about 4.5Mbps regularly) Impulse will regularly break 500 KBps. Direct2Drive will generally just beat 300KBps but is very up and down (anywhere from 150-350KBps over a few minutes time). Steam will also just beat 300KBps but is consistent. Speed is one of the factors that I like about Impulse, but the other key point is that Impuse does a nice job installing th

In some dialog boxes (like the Training dialog box) the options are "Train" and "Done". "Done" should really be renamed "Cancel" to indicate that no action will be taken when that button is hit. I've found myself hitting "Scout" and then "Done" a few times now wondering why I don't get any units built :)

I was actually thinking about this and I think it might be neat if each soveriegn type had both a "positive" attirbute and a "negative" attribute. Every time you level up, the positive attribute goes up double for each "point" that you assign to it (assuming we get the customizable level up screen). At the same time, you get extra points for leveling for each point you assign to the "negative" attirbute, which correspondingly goes down. Maybe magic users get double magic and

to be fair though this has thrown me a time or two. as a point of feedback on impulse it would be nice if the UI explicitly stated that one of the numbers is install size and one is download size

The problem is with the Nvidia drivers themselves (I think it was the April or May version). You can't actually change the screen resolution after they're installed in some cases. It was very irritating and took several hours to revert. For reference though on my 8800GT I'm using: Driver Version: 7.15.0011.8122 (English) DDI Version: 10 Driver Attributes: Final Retail

In addition to this, the tooltip should probably be more tabular or have a pop up dialog that shows all the periodic gold generators. Right now for an individual city with an inn the income could be 3.2/turn and the popup will say "You generate .1/turn from taxes with 22 people". .1*22 doesn't add up to 3.2/turn because of the inn contribution of 1 gold/turn. It makes it confusing.

If I am in tile X and a mob is in tile Y and we switch places (he moves to Y and I move to X) there is no combat. This is probably exploitable. Possibly the faster/stronger/etc unit should force combat in such a situation on the other unit in it's square in this case.

When viewing the tooltips for attack/defense/etc the words are under the cursor (i.e. the upper left hand corner of the tooltip is to the lower right of the hotspot of the cursor). The lower right hand corner of the tooltip box should be to the upper left of the hotspot if room is available. Basically it makes it so it's hard to read the tooltips.
