I’ve been staying away from the recent betas since it was so close to release. I figure I would wait until launch before I hopped back in. Last night I broke down and decided check things out for a few minutes. That turned into 6 hours. It was just too fun to stop playing.
I spent all day playing this game MP: I don't want people who are going to sweat graphics on a game that won't be out for 2 years playing this. Most addictive game I've played since I was in college (final game won't even remotely resemble this so this isn't even giving anything away). And this game is so addictive we've had to issue a "work hours" ban on playing it.
<span s
GREAT! Time to buy the Stardock stuff I don't have... ... Oh wait. I already have all of SD stuff. Can a coupon for future purchases? [e digicons]:D[/e]
Happy B-day! Time to bust out my copy os OS/2 to celebrate! [e digicons][/e]
Well then. That explains the screenshots in the future games thread. https://forums.elementalgame.com/445174/page/5/#3398846 :)
Well they are already working on Star Control since they got that IP. I doubt they would make two Sci-fi Strategy games at the same time. Hopefully I'm wrong. :)
I make my Sovereigns and Empires/Kingdoms based on literary ones. I base their stats on what closest resembles those from the source material. Currently I have Sir Uther Pendragon, King Conan and King Aragorn of the Kingdoms fighting it out with Lady Morgaine, Thoth Amon and Dark Lord Sauron. Merlin, Lady Dorothea and Raistlin of the Black Robes are sitting out this fight.
Funny. I feel the same way. I consider buying the DLC as a Dev Tip. So far most of the DLC is not something I would consider buying otherwise.
Happy B-day SD!
Is it full of stars?
I was going though changelog withdrawal... I feel much better now.
Karma. :)
Jon still works with Stardock on projects btw. But he had the opportunity to work on something he's very passionate about -- a post Roman era strategy game and he's pursuing it. And everyone here supports him and many of us have contributed to that game in our off hours because Jon is our friend, we believe in him and we know how talented he is from first hand experience. Damn it! First an FE Expansion and now this. TAKE MY MONEY. [e digicons][/e]
The first things I noticed was the Dragon's Shadow and the Mountains.
HELL YEA! [e digicons][/e]
The theme of it is to evolve the overall game design of Fallen Enchantress to help bring the role playing elements closer to the civilization building elements. Sometimes, FE feels like it’s trying to be multiple games at the same time and as such, never fully develops a single overarching theme.
Funny I was just listening to Three Moves Ahead ( http://www.idlethumbs.net/3ma ) and the
So does that mean less forum comments but more from Lady Xia? [e digicons][/e]
I'm what to see the HP Envy x2 in action. I think that covers everything I want except the price. Here is a brief Preview: http://www.cnet.com/laptops/hp-envy-x2/4505-3121_7-35426662.html In reflated news: When will FE get touch support? :)
We have an expansion planned for early next year. I won't spoil it except to say that it’s going to re-design the way champions are handled in the game. We want the game to generally move towards the power of your champions be a reflection of the power of your civilization.
Whooa... Do we get the legacy system back? :) Nothing made me go to war faster than the AI taking out my Kin in WoM.
According to our testers, it takes about 30 hours to finish the Fallen Enchantress scenario on average.
OMG that is a game upon itself. I did not think it was going to be that long. I was thinking 5 hours or so.
Woot! [e digicons]:D[/e]
I for one don’t think they are real Stardock employees. They are models hired by Frog for marketing purposes. They are just all too good looking and not nerdy enough. Where are the bandaids on eyeglasses? Where are the pocket protectors? It’s all lies I tell you! [e digicons][/e]
I have the same issue. So I just completely uninstalled FE an re-installed from scratch. Now when it attempts to patch via Stardock Central it starts the uninstall process and it bombs with an error "Cannot find network location No$KEY". My next step is to manually remove it and hunt for registry keys to remove but I'm going to wait to see if the next patch fixes it.
I would like more stuff like this. A portal sending out spider armies every round until the spider queen protecting it is killed. A monster that goes around killing other monsters and making copies of itself (like the demon splitting Resoln)+++++
I can confirm this is in. :) I found it the other night. Spiders everywhere. I stopped my warmongering and had to deal with them. The air spell (Tornado?)
