Has this changed in Fences 5?

Thanks for checking! I now have a reason to upgrade.
I still have it as well. It never got fixed.
I just installed Fences 4 on my laptop and noticed the gestures from the laptop's touchpad with Windows 11 don't work. I just trying to scroll with two fingers and nothing happens. I assume this is a bug or a missing feature but did I miss a setting somewhere?
Sorry, I should have mentioned that this is on Windows 11. According to a recent Microsoft KB it also might be a known issue with HDR and Windows 11. "After installing Windows 11, some image editing programs might not render colors correctly on certain high dynamic range (HDR) displays. This is frequently observed with w
Thanks for the reply! It's good to know it's a known issue. Sorry for posting this in the wrong sub-forum. I did it early this morning before I was caffeinated. Never post before an Espresso is my tip of the day.
When HDR is on (and you have an HDR Monitor) Feilds with dropdown text are blurry. As soon as the dropdown is selected it the text is readable. Disabling HDR also fixes the issue. I can't capture this with a screenshot since blurriness goes away when I try so I had to take one from my phone.
I’ve been staying away from the recent betas since it was so close to release. I figure I would wait until launch before I hopped back in. Last night I broke down and decided check things out for a few minutes. That turned into 6 hours. It was just too fun to stop playing.
Paul has mentioned a few things in the Streams. Off the top of of my head he has mentioned: Starbases and Terrorstars Commanders(heroes) & planetary governors Asteroid mining More Races
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760, Intel i5-4670K CPU, 16GB of Ram and Windows 10.

I feel a bit disappointed too. It’s not do to the campaign though. I enjoyed it. I’ve been playing Galciv since the OS/2 version. I got OS/2 just so I could play it as a matter of fact. I’m also an elite founder and think Stardoc is awesome developer and publisher. I hate saying this where the Devs can see since I know they put a ton of work into it but I basically find Galciv3 at this point bland and not engaging. With all the great reviews I tho
Fixed an issue with ridiculously wide monitors (we were scoffing at the 3000 x 1080 resolution until we got a monitor to test it on, it looks pretty awesome)
Thank you! This has been bugging me since Beta 1 and my monitor is not ridiculous! It's fun sized!
I hope this is the fix: http://steamcommunity.com/app/226860/discussions/1/620713633846726592/
As of the latest Opt-in Beta it's still there. I hope you get it before launch. [e digicons][/e]
What?! There are Stardockians's in Austin?! I'm going to drive to their office personally and buy them lunch as a thanks... unless they are Aggies. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Hey, Since the first beta I have been having video issue with any screen that has a “movie” playback. It seems to be related to wide screen format. Since you were so close to release I was hoping it would be fixed by now but I still have it. I posted about it a while ago here: https://forums.galciv3.com/453542/page/1/#3543415 -NetNomad
Since you are so close to release I figure I mention I still have this problem. Newer Drivers or betas have not fixed the issue. It happens to all the video playback screens and after awhile I get a crash to desktop. So for the last year I have not been able to play much of the betas. Hopefully you can get it fixed before launch.
I have a simular problem with the screen size on an ultra wide monitor. (2560 x 1080). When Servo opens the options, credit button, etc.. are below the taskbar. Hitting Alt-E does fix it when it goes fullscreen.
Greetings, I’m getting weird blurring on the edges of my screen. This blurring seems to happen only on the menu screens and the loading screen. I am running at 2560x1080 on a GeForce GTX 760 with NVidia’s 337.88 Drivers on Windows 8.1 Pro. If you need a dxdiag file or a screenshot just let me know.
I spent all day playing this game MP: I don't want people who are going to sweat graphics on a game that won't be out for 2 years playing this. Most addictive game I've played since I was in college (final game won't even remotely resemble this so this isn't even giving anything away). And this game is so addictive we've had to issue a "work hours" ban on playing it.
<span s
I forgot to mention my Video card and drivers. It's a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 running Driver version 335.23.
When I load Galciv III in with my monitor’s native resolution of 2560 x 1080 the edges get distorted. When I load it in 1920 x 1080 it works just fine. It seems like the area beyond the 1920 is the area that gets distorted. This does not happen on all of the screens. The main UI screen and the loading screens are fine but the intro video and gameplay screens get distorted.
