I'm really bummed about that but understand. After getting hooked on the Games of Thrones all over again due to the TV series I was looking forward to this feature. It did need a lot of work to make it fun and interesting though. Maybe someone will Mod it back in. :)

I happen to catch the first 15 mins preview and was impressed. It really did remind me of the books. It's on HBO web site: http://www.hbo.com/game-of-thrones/index.html if you want to take a look. I doubt it will be on Hulu or Netflix anytime soon since HBO has stated they want to make premium contact that you can only find from them. I also agree the third book was where things started to get convolut

This is just plane awesome post! It not only covered quirks of the UI I leaned several features that I never know existed. One thing I would also add as a suggestion about the equipment interface is make it a "Paper Doll", That will give it a more RPG flavor and I can tell at a glance what the Champion/Sov is outfitted with. This type of interface would also would also limit what the amont out items you can car

The simple answer is that you have to research the appropriate tech such as Refined Farming. That will multiply your food output.
